One day the Prophet ﷺ had intercourse with all his wives. He took a bath after each intercourse. I asked him: Messenger of Allah, why don't you make it a single bath? He replied: This is more purifying, better and cleaning. Abu Dawud said: The tradition narrated by Anas is more sound that this tradition.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ طَافَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ يَغْتَسِلُ عِنْدَ هَذِهِ وَعِنْدَ هَذِهِ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلاَ تَجْعَلُهُ غُسْلاً وَاحِدًا قَالَ هَذَا أَزْكَى وَأَطْيَبُ وَأَطْهَرُ

The Prophet went around to all of his wives in one night, and he had a bath after each one of them. It was said to him: "O Messenger of Allah, why not make it one bath?" He said: "This is purer, better and cleaner."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ طَافَ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ وَكَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ عِنْدَ كُلِّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُنَّ فَقِيلَ لَهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلاَ تَجْعَلُهُ غُسْلاً وَاحِدًا فَقَالَ هُوَ أَزْكَى وَأَطْيَبُ وَأَطْهَرُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed Tawaf (circumambulation of the Kaaba) around his wives on a certain day. He then began to perform Wudu (ablution) at this and that place. It was said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, why don't you make it one single ablution?" He replied, "This is purer, more pleasant, and cleaner."

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ visited his wives one night and washed himself at each of their places. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, wouldn't it be sufficient if you washed yourself only once?" He replied, "This is purer and cleaner."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ طَافَ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ فَاغْتَسَلَ عِنْدَ كُلِّ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْهُنَّ غُسْلًا فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَوْ اغْتَسَلْتَ غُسْلًا وَاحِدًا؟ فَقَالَ هَذَا أَطْهَرُ وَأَطْيَبُ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ went around his wives and performed ablution after being intimate with each of them. I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, why don't you make it one ablution?" He said, "This is more pure and better."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ طَافَ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ جَمَعَ فَاغْتَسَلَ عِنْدَ كُلِّ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْهُنَّ غُسْلًا فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلَا جَعَلْتَهُ غُسْلًا وَاحِدًا؟ قَالَ «هَذَا أَزْكَى وَأَطْيَبُ»

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went around his wives and performed ablution (washing) at each one of them. So I said, "O Messenger of Allah, couldn't you have made it one washing?" He said, "This is purer, cleaner, and more pleasant. And Allah knows best."
