IBNHIBBAN 7368:
from Muḥammad b. al-Muthanná —
[Machine] "It was narrated that during the day, my servant, who was residing in the Banu Najjar, mentioned that he heard Abu Sa'id al-Khudri saying that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Verily, Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, will not ask His servant on the Day of Resurrection, until He says to him: What prevented you, when you saw an evil act, from forbidding it? Then He will instruct the servant with his argument, saying: O Lord, I relied on You, and I separated myself from the people or I separated myself from the people and relied on You.'"
