suyuti:4615a –

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Cut the moustaches short and leave the beard (as it is). (Using translation from Bukhārī 5893)

السيوطي:٤٦١٥a –

"أَنهِكوا الشوَارِبَ ، وأعْفوا اللحَى".

البخاري:٥٨٩٣ – حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدٌ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ انْهَكُوا الشَّوَارِبَ وَأَعْفُوا اللِّحَى

tirmidhi:2763 – al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī al-Khalāal > ʿAbdullāh b. Numayr > ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿUmar > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Trim the mustache and leave the beard to grow."

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ṣaḥīḥ.
الترمذي:٢٧٦٣ – حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلاَّلُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَحْفُوا الشَّوَارِبَ وَأَعْفُوا اللِّحَى

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ
ahmad:4654 – Yaḥyá > ʿUbaydullāh > Nāfiʿ > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

أحمد:٧١٣٢ – حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قُصُّوا الشَّوَارِبَ وَأَعْفُوا اللِّحَى

The Apostle of Allah ﷺ said: Trim closely the moustache, and let the beard grow. (Using translation from Muslim 259a)
