The Apostle of Allah ﷺ performed two prostrations for forgetfulness after salutation and talking.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَىِ السَّهْوِ بَعْدَ السَّلاَمِ وَالْكَلاَمِ

Abu Hurairah reported; He then made two prostration on account of forgetfulness after he had given the salutation.

ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَىِ السَّهْوِ بَعْدَ مَا سَلَّمَ

"The Prophet (S) performed two prostrations after the Salam."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سَجَدَهُمَا بَعْدَ السَّلاَمِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prostrated twice after the salam on the day of Dhul-Yadain.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَجَدَ يَوْمَ ذِي الْيَدَيْنِ سَجْدَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ السَّلاَمِ

The Prophet ﷺ prostrated after the salam when he was not sure.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سَجَدَ فِي وَهْمِهِ بَعْدَ التَّسْلِيمِ

The Prophet ﷺ said the salam, then he spoke, then he performed two prostrations of forgetfulness.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ تَكَلَّمَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَىِ السَّهْوِ

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ made a mistake in the prayer, so he performed the prostrations of forgetfulness after completing the speech.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سَهَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ بَعْدَ الْكَلَامِ

The Prophet ﷺ prostrated after the salam when he was not sure. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1235)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ سَجَدَهُمَا بَعْدَ التَّسْلِيمِ

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ performed the two prostrations of forgetfulness after the greeting of peace.

سَجَدَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ بَعْدَ السَّلَامِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ gave the testimony of faith in the two prostrations of forgetfulness, and then he concluded the prayer by saying the salaam.

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَشَهَّدَ فِي سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ»

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ prayed with them, but he made a mistake in his prayer, so he performed the two prostrations of forgetfulness after the salaam and speech."

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى بِهِمْ فَسَهَا فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَي السَّهْوِ بَعْدَ السَّلَامِ وَالْكَلَامِ»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ سجد يوم ذي اليدين سجدتين سجدتي السهو

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "For every unintentional mistake, there are two prostrations after the completion of the prayer."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لِكُلِّ سَهْوٍ سَجْدَتَانِ بَعْدَ التَّسْلِيمِ»

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mistakenly performed an additional prostration during prayer and then concluded the prayer by reciting the final salaam."

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَوْهَمَ فِي صَلَاةٍ فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ سَلَّمَ فِيهِمَا»

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mistakenly greeted [in prayer] during his prostration."

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سَلَّمَ فِي سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ»

The Prophet ﷺ said the salam, then he spoke, then he performed two prostrations of forgetfulness. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1329)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ تَكَلَّمَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ»

The Prophet ﷺ prostrated after the salam when he was not sure. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1235)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «سَجَدَ فِي وَهْمِهِ بَعْدَ التَّسْلِيمِ»

The Prophet ﷺ said the salam, then he spoke, then he performed two prostrations of forgetfulness. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1329)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ تَكَلَّمَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ performed the Tashahhud during the two prostrations of forgetfulness and then gave the Salam.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَشَهَّدَ فِي سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ

"التَّسْلِيمُ بعدَ سَجْدَتَيِ السهو".

"سجْدتَا السَّهوِ بعْد التَّسْليم، وفيهَا تَشَهُّدٌ وسلَامٌ".

"أَنَّ النَّبىَّ ﷺ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَى السَّهْوِ بَعْدَمَا سَلَّمَ وَتَكَلَّم وَكَبَّرَ فَسَجَد وَكَبَّرَ وَهُو جِالسٌ، ثُّمَ رَفَعَ وَكَبَّرَ".

"أَنَّ الَّنبىَّ ﷺ سَجَدَ سَجْدتَى السَّهْو بَعْدَمَا سَلَّم وَكَلَمَّ فَسَجَد وَكَبَّرَ وَهُوَ جِالسٌ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ وَكَبَّرَ".

"أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَكَلَّمَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَى السَّهْوِ".
