[AI] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "When is the Night of Qadr (Decree)?" He said, "Whoever among you remembers the night of the two white days (meaning the 13th, 14th, or 15th of the lunar month), should observe fasting in them." Abdullah said, "I remembered it with my father and mother, and I have three dates which I will break my fast with, hidden in the back pocket of my saddle since the beginning of dawn when the moon rose."

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ مَتَى لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ؟ قَالَ مَنْ يَذْكُرُ مِنْكُمْ لَيْلَةَ الصَّهْبَاوَاتِ؟ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ أَنَا بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي وَإِنَّ فِي يَدِي لَتَمَرَاتٍ أَتَسَحَّرُ بِهِنَّ مُسْتَتِرًا بِمُؤْخِرَةِ رَحْلِي مِنَ الْفَجْرِ وَذَلِكَ حِينَ طَلَعَ الْقَمَرُ

[AI] A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asking him about the Night of Qadr (the Night of Decree). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Which one of you remembers the Night of Sahbawat?" Abdullah said, "I swear by Allah, I remember it, O Messenger of Allah, with my father and mother, and indeed, in my hands are dates that I would break my fast with, hidden at the back of my saddle, since the break of dawn, and that was when the moon rose."

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَيُّكُمْ يَذْكُرُ لَيْلَةَ الصَّهْبَاوَاتِ؟ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ أَنَا وَاللهِ أَذْكُرُهَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي وَإِنَّ فِي يَدَيَّ لَتَمَرَاتٍ أَتَسَحَّرُ بِهِنَّ مُسْتَتِرًا بِمُؤْخِرَةِ رَحْلِي مِنَ الْفَجْرِ وَذَلِكَ حِينَ طَلَعَ الْقَمَرُ

[AI] A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "When is Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Decree)?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Who among you remembers the night of the Shahbāwāt (full moon)?" Abdullah said, "I can remember it, does it have any significance?" The man said, "I have dates in my possession that I eat sahur (pre-dawn meal) with, and they are hidden at the back of my saddle until dawn when the Qumayr (a type of bird) appears."

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ مَتَى لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ؟ قَالَ مَنْ يَذْكُرُ مِنْكُمْ لَيْلَةَ الصَّهْبَاوَاتِ؟ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ أَنَا بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي وَإِنَّ فِي يَدِي لَتَمَرَاتٍ أَتَسَحَّرُ بِهِنَّ مُسْتَتِرًا مِنَ الْفَجْرِ بِمُؤْخِرَةِ رَحْلِي وَذَلِكَ حِينَ طَلَعَ الْقُمَيْرُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the night of Al-Qadr (Decree). He replied, "Which one of you remembers the meteor showers?" Abdullah said, "O Messenger of Allah, I remember it with my father and mother when the moon rose, and that was on the twenty-seventh night."

سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ فَقَالَ «أَيُّكُمْ يَذْكُرُ الصَّهْبَاوَاتِ؟» فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ أَنَا بِأَبِي وَأُمِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ حِينَ طَلَعَ الْقَمَرُ وَذَلِكَ لَيْلَةَ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ

[AI] A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked him about the Night of Decree. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Which one of you remembers the Night of Al-Sahbaat?" Abdullah said, "By Allah, I remember it, O Messenger of Allah, with my father and my mother. And I have dates in my hand that I eat as Suhur while being hidden behind the back of a saddle during the pre-dawn time, and that is when the moon rises."
