"أكْثِرُوا ذِكْرَ هَاذِم الَّلذَّاتِ فما ذكرَهُ عبْدٌ قَطُّ، وهو في ضِيقٍ إلا وَسَّعَه عليه، ولا ذَكَرَهُ وهو في سَعَةٍ إِلا ضَيَّقَهُ عليه" .

from the Prophet ﷺ, he said: Frequently remember the destroyer of pleasures (death), for whenever a servant mentions it while in difficulty, it ˹gives him relief˺, and whenever he mentions it while in ease, it gives him ˹self-restraint.˺
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «أَكْثِرُوا ذِكْرَ هَاذِمِ اللَّذَّاتِ فَمَا ذَكَرَهُ عَبْدٌ قَطُّ وَهُوَ فِي ضِيقٍ إِلَّا وَسَعَهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَا ذَكَرُهُ وَهُوَ فِي سَعَةٍ إِلَّا ضَيِّقَهُ عَلَيْهِ»
"أكْثِرُوا ذِكْرَ هَاذمِ الَّلذَّاتِ، فَإِنَّهُ مَا ذَكَرَهُ أحَدٌ في ضِيقٍ مِنَ العَيشِ إلَّا وَسَّعَهُ عَلَيهِ، وَلا في سَعَةٍ إلا ضَيَّقَهُ عَلَيهِ".
