[Machine] "Do not lament, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade mourning. One of you should shed tears as much as she wishes, then she should suppress them and say the takbirs four times. After the fourth takbir, she should stand and pray, raising her hands between the two takbirs. Then she should make supplication and say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to act in the funeral in this way."
[Machine] A daughter of his died, so he followed her on a mule, walking behind the funeral procession, while women were mourning her. He said, "Let them mourn or not mourn. Verily, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade mourning." And he said, "One of you should take off her outer garment as she wishes, then he offered the funeral prayer over her, and he performed four Takbirs (saying Allahu Akbar, meaning Allah is the Greatest) over her grave, then he stood after the fourth Takbir for as long as it takes to say the distance between the two Takbirs, seeking forgiveness for her and supplicating. It was narrated, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do it like this.'"
