that his father said, "Whenever a beggar came to Messenger of Allah ﷺ or he was asked for something, he used to say (to his companions), "Help and recommend him and you will receive the reward for it; and Allah will bring about what He will through His Prophet's tongue."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا جَاءَهُ السَّائِلُ أَوْ طُلِبَتْ إِلَيْهِ حَاجَةٌ قَالَ اشْفَعُوا تُؤْجَرُوا وَيَقْضِي اللَّهُ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّهِ ﷺ مَا شَاءَ

Whenever a beggar or a person in need came to the Prophet, the Prophet would say "Help and recommend him and you will receive the reward for it, and Allah will bring about what he will through His Prophet's tongue

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا أَتَاهُ السَّائِلُ أَوْ صَاحِبُ الْحَاجَةِ قَالَ اشْفَعُوا فَلْتُؤْجَرُوا وَلْيَقْضِ اللَّهُ عَلَى لِسَانِ رَسُولِهِ مَا شَاءَ

[AI] Whenever a petitioner came to the Prophet ﷺ—and he may have said: a petitioner or someone in need came to him—he would say: "Intercede, and you will be rewarded; and Allah will decree, upon the tongue of His Messenger, whatever He wills."

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَاهُ السَّائِلُ، وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ: جَاءَهُ السَّائِلُ أَوْ صَاحِبُ الْحَاجَةِ، قَالَ: «اشْفَعُوا فَلْتُؤْجَرُوا، وَيَقْضِي اللَّهُ عَلَى لِسَانِ رَسُولِهِ مَا شَاءَ».

When a person seeking a need came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he would turn to those sitting with him and say: "Intercede, and you will be rewarded; and let Allah decree upon the tongue of His Prophet whatever He loves."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَاهُ طَالِبُ حَاجَةٍ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى جُلَسَائِهِ فَقَالَ: «اشْفَعُوا فَلْتُؤْجَرُوا، وَلْيَقْضِ اللَّهُ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّهِ مَا أَحَبَّ».

Make intercession to me, you will be rewarded, for Allah decrees what he wishes by the tongue of his prophet.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اشْفَعُوا إِلَىَّ لِتُؤْجَرُوا وَلْيَقْضِ اللَّهُ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّهِ مَا شَاءَ

that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Intercede, and you will be rewarded, and Allah will fulfill what He wills upon the tongue of His Prophet."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ اشْفَعُوا وَلْتُؤْجَرُوا وَلْيَقْضِ اللَّهُ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّهِ مَا شَاءَ

"Intercede and your intercession may be accepted, and Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, decrees on the lips of His Prophet whatsoever He will."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ اشْفَعُوا تُشَفَّعُوا وَيَقْضِي اللَّهُ ﷻ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّهِ مَا شَاءَ

[AI] "We were sitting with the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , and a questioner asked him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Intercede and you will be rewarded, and let Allah decide on the tongue of His Prophet what He loves.'"

كُنَّا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَإِنَّهُ سَأَلَهُ سَائِلٌفَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اشْفَعُوا تُؤْجَرُوا وَلْيَقْضِ اللهُ ﷻ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّهِ مَا أَحَبَّ

Make intercession to me, you will be rewarded, for Allah decrees what he wishes by the tongue of his prophet. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 5131)

جَاءَ سَائِلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اشْفَعُوا فَلْتُؤْجَرُوا وَلْيَقْضِ اللهُ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّهِ مَا شَاءَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, I am given and asked for, and needs are brought to me and you are near me. So Intercede, you shall be rewarded. And Allah decides through the tongue of his Prophet what He likes or wills."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنِّي أُوتَى فَأُسْأَلُ وَيُطْلَبُ إِلَيَّ الْحَاجَةُ وَأَنْتُمْ عِنْدِي فَاشْفَعُوا فَلْتُؤْجَرُوا وَيَقْضِي اللَّهُ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّهِ مَا أَحَبَّ أَوْ مَا شَاءَ»
