"يَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنَ مَسْلَمَةَ: إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ فِتْنَةٌ وفُرْقَةٌ وَاخْتِلَافٌ، فَإِذَا كَانَ ذَلِكَ فَاكْسِرْ سَيْفَكَ، وَاكْسِرْ نَبْلَكَ، وَاقْطَعْ وَتَركَ، وَاجْلِسْ فِى بَيْتِكَ".

"عَنْ مُحَمَّد بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ فِتْنَةٌ وَفُرقَةٌ وَاخْتِلَافٌ، فَإِذَا كانَ ذَلِكَ فَائْتِ بِسَيْفِكَ أُحُدًا فَاضِربْ بِهِ حَتَّى تَقْطعَهُ، ثُمَّ اجْلِسْ فِى بَيْتِكَ حَتَّى تَأتِيَكَ يَدٌ خاطِئَةٌ، أَوْ مَنِيَّةٌ قَاضِيَةٌ".
