Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Our Lord, the Blessed and Exalted, descends to the lowest heaven every night when a third of the night remains. He says, 'Who is calling on Me so that I can answer him? Who is asking Me for something so that I can give to him? "Who is asking Me for forgiveness so that I can forgive him?'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَنْزِلُ رَبُّنَا تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى فِي كُلِّ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا حِينَ يَبْقَى ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْآخَرُ فَيَقُولُ مَنْ يَدْعُونِي فَأَسْتَجِيبَ لَهُ؟ مَنْ يَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيَهُ؟ مَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرُنِي فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ؟

When half of the night or two-third of it is over. Allah, the Blessed and the Exalted, descends to the lowest heaven and says: Is there any beggar, so that he be given? Is there any supplicator so that he be answered? Is there any beggar of forgiveness so that he be forgiven? (And Allah continues it saying) till it is daybreak.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا مَضَى شَطْرُ اللَّيْلِ أَوْ ثُلُثَاهُ يَنْزِلُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَيَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ يُعْطَى هَلْ مِنْ دَاعٍ يُسْتَجَابُ لَهُ هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ يُغْفَرُ لَهُ حَتَّى يَنْفَجِرَ الصُّبْحُ

Allah waits till when one-third of the first part of the night is over; He descends to the lowest heaven and says: It there any supplicator of forgiveness? Is there any penitant? Is there any petitioner (for mercy and favour)? Is there any solicitor? -till it is daybreak.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُمْهِلُ حَتَّى إِذَا ذَهَبَ ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الأَوَّلُ نَزَلَ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَيَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ هَلْ مِنْ تَائِبٍ هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ هَلْ مِنْ دَاعٍ حَتَّى يَنْفَجِرَ الْفَجْرُ

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Allah, the Most High, descends to the lower heaven every night and asks, 'Is there anyone who asks so that I may give to them? Is there anyone who seeks forgiveness so that I may forgive them?'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَنْزِلُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَيَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ فَأُعْطِيَهُ؟ هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ؟

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Were I not afraid that it would be hard on my followers, I would order them to use the siwak (as obligatory, for cleaning the teeth). (Using translation from Bukhārī 7240)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لَأَمَرْتُهُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ مَعَ الْوُضُوءِ وَلَأَخَّرْتُ الْعِشَاءَ إِلَى ثُلُثِ اللَّيْلِ أَوْ نِصْفِ اللَّيْلِ فَإِذَا مَضَى ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ أَوْ نِصْفُ اللَّيْلِ نَزَلَ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَقَالَ هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ فَأُعْطِيَهُ؟ هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ؟ هَلْ مِنْ تَائِبٍ فَأَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِ؟ هَلْ مِنْ دَاعٍ فَأُجِيبَهُ؟

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Every night, a caller calls out, 'Is there anyone seeking supplication so that it may be granted? Is there anyone seeking something so that it may be given to him? Is there anyone seeking forgiveness so that he may be forgiven?' This continues until dawn."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُنَادِي مُنَادٍ كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ هَلْ مِنْ دَاعٍ فَيُسْتَجَابَ لَهُ هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ فَيُعْطَى هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ فَيُغْفَرَ لَهُ حَتَّى يَنْفَجِرَ الْفَجْرُ

[AI] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Allah descends to the lowest heaven every night and says, 'Is there anyone who asks, so that I may give him? Is there anyone who seeks forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?' This continues until dawn breaks."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ يَنْزِلُ اللهُ ﷻ فِي كُلِّ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَيَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ فَأُعْطِيَهُ؟ هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ؟ حَتَّى يَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Abu Abdullah al-Agharr and from Abu Salama from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Our Lord, the Blessed and Exalted, descends every night to the heaven of this world when the last third of the night is still to come and says, 'Who will call on Me so that I may answer him? Who will ask Me so that I may give him? Who will ask forgiveness of Me so that I may forgive him?' "

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَنْزِلُ رَبُّنَا تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا حِينَ يَبْقَى ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الآخِرُ فَيَقُولُ مَنْ يَدْعُونِي فَأَسْتَجِيبَ لَهُ مَنْ يَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيَهُ مَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرُنِي فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ

[AI] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: "When half of the night or two-thirds of it passes, Allah, the Most High and Exalted, descends to the lowest heaven and says, 'Who is there to ask of Me, so I may give him? Who is there to call upon Me, so I may answer him? Who is there to seek sustenance from Me, so I may provide for him? Who is there to seek forgiveness from Me, so I may forgive him?' This continues until dawn breaks."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا مَضَى شَطْرُ اللَّيْلِ أَوْ ثُلُثَاهُ يَنْزِلُ اللَّهُ جَلَّ وَعَلَا إِلَى سَمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَيَقُولُ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيَهُ؟ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَدْعُونِي أَسْتَجِيبُ لَهُ؟ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَسْتَرْزِقُنِي أَرْزُقُهُ؟ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَسْتَغْفِرُنِي أَغْفِرُ لَهُ؟ حَتَّى يَنْفَجِرَ الصُّبْحُ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Verily, Allah delays until the first third of the night passes, then our Lord, blessed and exalted, descends to the lowest heaven and says, 'Is there anyone seeking forgiveness, so that I may forgive them? Is there any repentant, so that I may accept their repentance? Is there any seeker, so that I may grant them? Is there any supplicant, so that I may answer their supplication?' This continues until dawn breaks."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُمْهِلُ حَتَّى إِذَا ذَهَبَ ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْأَوَّلُ نَزَلَ رَبُّنَا تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَيَقُولُ جَلَّ وَعَلَا هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ؟ هَلْ مِنْ تَائِبٍ؟ هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ؟ هَلْ مِنْ دَاعٍ؟ حَتَّى يَنْفَجِرَ الصُّبْحُ»

قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ إن الله تبارك وتعالى إذا ذهب ثلث الليل أو وسط الليل أو يمهل إلى ثلث الليل أو إلى وسط الليل أمر مناديا فنادى هل من داع فأجيبه هل من مستغفر فيغفر له هل من سائل فيعطى هل من تائب فيتاب عليه

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ قال ينزل الله تبارك وتعالى كل ليلة إلى السماء الدنيا حين يبقى ثلث الليل الآخر فيقول من يدعوني فأستجب له من ييسألني فأعطيه من يستغفرني فأغفر له

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ لولا أن أشق على أمتي لأمرتهم بالسواك عند كل صلاة ولأخرت صلاة العشاء إلى ثلث الليل الأول أو إلى النصف الشك من عُبَيد الله فإن الله تبارك وتعالى إذا ذهب ثلث الليل الأول أو نصفه ينزل إلى السماء الدنيا فينادي هل من داع فأجيب هل من مستغفر فأغفر له أو سائل فأعطيه حتى يطلع الفجر

[AI] "From the Prophet ﷺ , he said: Indeed, Allah descends to the lowest heaven every night and says: 'Is there anyone who is supplicating, so that I may answer his supplication? Is there anyone seeking forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ يَنْزِلُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فِي كُلِّ لَيْلَةٍ فَيَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ دَاعٍ فَاسْتَجِيبَ لَهُ؟ هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Our Lord who is blessed and exalted descends every night to the lowest heaven when the last one-third of the night remains, and says: Who supplicated Me so that I may answer him ? Who asks of Me so that I may give to him ? Who asks My forgiveness so that I may forgive him ? (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1315)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَنْزِلُ اللهُ تَعَالَى كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى يَبْقَى ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْأَخِيرُ فَيَقُولُ مَنْ يَدْعُونِي فَأَسْتَجِيبَ لَهُ مَنْ يَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيَهُ مَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرُنِي فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the last third of the night remains, Allah, blessed and exalted be He, descends to the lowest heaven and says, 'Who is calling upon Me, so that I may answer him? Who is asking forgiveness from Me, so that I may forgive him? Who is seeking My help, so that I may help him, until the dawn breaks?

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا بَقِيَ ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ يَنْزِلُ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَيَقُولُ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَدْعُونِي أَسْتَجِيبُ لَهُ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَسْتَغْفِرُنِي أَغْفِرُ لَهُ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَسْتَكْشِفُ الضُّرَّ أَكْشِفُ حَتَّى يَنْفَجِرَ الصُّبْحُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one-third of the night remains, Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, descends to the lowest Heaven and says, 'Who is there that seeks forgiveness from Me so that I may forgive him? Who is there that supplicates to Me so that I may answer him? Who is there that seeks provision from Me so that I may provide for him, until the dawn breaks?'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا بَقِيَ ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ نَزَلَ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَيَقُولُ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَسْتَغْفِرُنِي أَغْفِرُ لَهُ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَدْعُونِي أَسْتَجِيبُ لَهُ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَسْتَرْزِقُنِي أَرْزُقُهُ حَتَّى يَنْفَجِرَ الصُّبْحُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا مَضَى شَطْرُ اللَّيْلِ أَوْ ثُلُثَاهُ يَنْزِلُ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى اسْمُهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَيَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ يُعْطَى هَلْ مِنْ دَاعٍ يُسْتَجَابُ لَهُ هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ يُغْفَرُ لَهُ حَتَّى يَنْفَجِرَ الصُّبْحُ

[AI] "They both testified to it before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and I bear witness that they said, 'Verily, Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, grants respite until the first third of the night passes. Then, He descends to the lowest heaven and says, 'Is there anyone seeking forgiveness? Is there anyone begging for sustenance? Is there anyone repenting? Is there anyone in need?' Until dawn emerges."

أَنَّهُمَا شَهِدَا بِهِ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ عَلَيْهِمَا أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يُمْهِلُ حَتَّى يَذْهَبَ ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْأَوَّلُ ثُمَّ يَهْبِطُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَيَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ هَلْ مِنْ تَائِبٍ هَلْ مِنْ دَاعٍ حَتَّى يَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah grants respite until the first third of the night passes, then He commands a caller to call out, 'Is there anyone who is invoking (supplicating) that his invocation may be answered? Is there anyone seeking forgiveness (repenting) that he may be forgiven? Is there anyone asking for something so that he may be given?'".

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إنَّ اللهَ ﷻ يُمْهِلُ حَتَّى يَمْضِي شَطْرُ اللَّيْلِ الْأَوَّلُ ثُمَّ يَأْمُرُ مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي يَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ دَاعٍ يُسْتَجَابُ لَهُ هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ يُغْفَرُ لَهُ هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ يُعْطَى

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah descends to the lowest heaven and says, 'Is there anyone who asks that I may give him? Is there anyone who seeks forgiveness that I may forgive him? Is there anyone who repents that I may accept his repentance until dawn breaks?'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ يَنْزِلُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَيَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ يُعْطَى هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ يَسْتَغْفِرُ هَلْ مِنْ تَائِبٍ يُتَابُ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَنْشَقَّ الْفَجْرُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, descends to the lowest heaven every night and says, 'Is there anyone seeking forgiveness so that I may forgive them? Is there anyone in need so that I may provide for them?'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَنْزِلُ كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَيَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ فَأُعْطِيَهِ هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ

"إذَا مضى شطرُ الليلِ أو ثلثاهُ ينْزِلُ الله إلى السَّماءِ الدُّنيا، فيقولُ: هلْ مِنْ سائلٍ فيُعطَى؟ هل مِنْ داعٍ فيُستجابَ لَهُ؟ هَلْ مِنْ مُستغِفرٍ فيُغَفرَ له؟ حتَّى يتفجرَ الصُّبْحُ".

"إِن الله ﷻ يَنْزلُ إِلى السماءِ الدُّنْيا فِي كُل لَيلَةٍ، فَيَقولُ: هَلْ مِنْ دَاعٍ فَأستجيبَ لَهُ؟ هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِر فَأغْفِرَ لَهُ؟ ".

"لَوْلا أن أَشُقَّ عَلَى أمَّتِي لأخَّرْتُ صَلاةَ العِشَاءِ إلى ثُلُثِ اللَّيلِ أوْ شَطرِ اللَّيل؛ فَإِنَّهُ إِذَا مَضَى شَطرُ اللَّيلِ يَنْزِلُ الله تعَالى إلَى السَّماءِ الدُّنْيَا فَيَقُولُ: هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ فأغفِرَ لَهُ، هَلْ مِنْ تَائِبٍ فأتُوبَ عَلَيهِ، هَلْ مِن دَاعٍ فأسْتَجِيبَ لَهُ حَتَّى يَطلُعَ الفَجْرُ".

"يَنْزِلُ اللَّه كُل ليْلَةٍ إلى سَمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فيقُولُ: هلْ مِن سَائلٍ فَأُعطِيَهُ؟ هلْ من مستغفرٍ فأغفرَ لهُ؟ هل مِن تَائِبٍ فَأتُوبَ عَليهِ؟ حَتَّى يطلُعَ الفجْرُ".
