his grandfather said: “The Messenger of Allah said: 'If one of you were to take his rope (or ropes) and go to the mountains, and bring a bundle of firewood on his back to sell, and thus become independent of means, that would be better for him than begging from people who may either give him something or not give him anything.'”
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “For one of you to take a rope and go to the mountains, then bring a bundle of firewood on his back and sell it, and make himself independent of means thereby, is better for him than to ask of people, whether they give him something or not.”
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'A person does not open the door of asking for something to himself except that Allah opens for him a door of poverty. The person takes his rope and heads towards the mountain, collects firewood on his back, and eats from it. This is better for him than asking people for something that might be given or withheld.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is better for one of you to take a rope and go to the mountain to collect firewood, then sell it, and eat from the earnings or give in charity, rather than asking people for something."
[Machine] Narrated Abu Huraira: The Messenger of Allahﷺ said: "No one opens a door of asking (for help) upon himself, but Allah will open a door of poverty for him, as if he were to stretch a rope to a mountain and take it upon his back, then eat from it, it would be better for him than to ask people, whether they give or refuse."
