[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'A person does not open the door of asking for something to himself except that Allah opens for him a door of poverty. The person takes his rope and heads towards the mountain, collects firewood on his back, and eats from it. This is better for him than asking people for something that might be given or withheld.'"  

أحمد:٩٤٢١حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَفْتَحُ الْإِنْسَانُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بَابَ مَسْأَلَةٍ إِلَّا فَتَحَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ بَابَ فَقْرٍ يَأْخُذُ الرَّجُلُ حَبْلَهُ فَيَعْمِدُ إِلَى الْجَبَلِ فَيَحْتَطِبُ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ فَيَأْكُلُ بِهِ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْأَنْ يَسْأَلَ النَّاسَ مُعْطًى أَوْ مَمْنُوعًا

"لا يَفْتَحُ أحَدٌ عَلَى نَفْسِه بَابَ مَسْألَةٍ إِلا فَتَح اللهُ عَلَيهِ بَابَ فَقْرٍ، لأنْ يَأخُذَ أحَدُكُمْ أحْبُلَهُ فَيَأتِي الجَبَلَ فيحْتَطبَ عَلَى ظَهْرِه فَيَبيعَهُ فَيأكُلَ (*) خَيرٌ لهُ مِنْ أنْ يَسْألَ النَّاسَ مُعْطىً أوْ مَمْنُوعًا".
