The Prophet ﷺ said: "If only one day of this world remained," – in the narration of Zaʾidah he adds: "Allah will lengthen that day" and he agrees with the rest ˹of the narration˺ – "until He will raise up in it a man (the Mahdī) who is from me" or "from ˹the bloodline˺ of my family. His father's name is the same as my father." In the narration of Fiṭr he adds: "He will fill the earth with equity and justice as it has been filled with oppression and tyranny."

In the narration of Sufyān he adds: "The world will not pass away or end before the Arabs are ruled by a man of my family whose name will be the same as mine."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «لَوْ لَمْ يَبْقَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا إِلاَّ يَوْمٌ» قَالَ زَائِدَةُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: «لَطَوَّلَ اللَّهُ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ» ثُمَّ اتَّفَقُوا: «حَتَّى يَبْعَثَ فِيهِ رَجُلاً مِنِّي» أَوْ «مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِي وَاسْمُ أَبِيهِ اسْمَ أَبِي۔» زَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ فِطْرٍ: «يَمْلأُ الأَرْضَ قِسْطًا وَعَدْلاً كَمَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلْمًا وَجَوْرًا۔»

وَقَالَ فِي حَدِيثِ سُفْيَانَ: «لاَ تَذْهَبُ أَوْ لاَ تَنْقَضِي الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى يَمْلِكَ الْعَرَبَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِي۔»

The Prophet ﷺ said: The Mahdi will be of my stock, and will have a broad forehead a prominent nose. He will fill the earth will equity and justice as it was filled with oppression and tyranny, and he will rule for seven years.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْمَهْدِيُّ مِنِّي أَجْلَى الْجَبْهَةِ أَقْنَى الأَنْفِ يَمْلأُ الأَرْضَ قِسْطًا وَعَدْلاً كَمَا مُلِئَتْ جَوْرًا وَظُلْمًا يَمْلِكُ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ

the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The world shall not pass away until a man from the people of my family rules the Arabs whose name agrees with my name."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «لاَ تَذْهَبُ الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى يَمْلِكَ الْعَرَبَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِي۔»

[AI] About the Prophet ﷺ saying: "The Hour will not be established until a man from my family rises, whose name matches my name."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَلِيَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِي

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "The Hour will not come until a man from my household rules, filling the earth with justice as it was filled with injustice before him, for a period of seven years."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَمْلِكَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي أَجْلَى أَقْنَى يَمْلَأُ الْأَرْضَ عَدْلًا كَمَا مُلِئَتْ قَبْلَهُ ظُلْمًا يَكُونُ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Hour will not be established until the earth is filled with injustice and aggression." He said, "Then a man from my family or my household will emerge and fill it with justice and fairness, just as it was filled with injustice and aggression."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تَمْتَلِئَ الْأَرْضُ ظُلْمًا وَعُدْوَانًا قَالَ ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ عِتْرَتِي أَوْ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي مَنْ يَمْلَؤُهَا قِسْطًا وَعَدْلًا كَمَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلْمًا وَعُدْوَانًا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The Hour will not be established until the Earth is filled with oppression, injustice, and wrongdoing. Then, from my household, there will emerge someone who will fill it with justice and equity, just as it was filled with oppression and wrongdoing."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تُمْلَأَ الْأَرْضُ ظُلْمًا وَجَوْرًا وَعُدْوَانًا ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي مَنْ يَمْلَأَهَا قِسْطًا وَعَدْلًا كَمَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلْمًا وَعُدْوَانًا»

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "If there was only one night left in the world, a man from my family would rule it, and his name would be my name."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَوْ لَمْ يَبْقَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا لَيْلَةٌ لَمَلَكَ فِيهَا رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي * اسْمُهُ اسْمِي»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Hour will not come until a man from my Ahlul-Bayt (family) rules, and his name matches my name and his father's name matches my father's name, and he fills the earth with justice and fairness."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَمْلِكَ النَّاسَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِي وَاسْمُ أَبِيهِ اسْمَ أَبِي فَيَمْلَؤُهَا قِسْطًا وَعَدْلًا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The Hour will not be established until a man from my household rules over the people, filling the earth with justice as it was filled with oppression before him, ruling for seven years."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَمْلِكَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي أَقْنَى يَمْلَأُ الْأَرْضَ عَدْلًا كَمَا مُلِئَتْ قَبْلَهُ ظُلْمًا يَمْلِكُ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ»

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ ذَكَرَ الْمَهْدِيَّ فَقَالَ لَيَمْلَأَنَّ الْأَرْضَ قِسْطًا وَعَدْلًا كَمَا مُلِئَتْ جَوْرًا وَظُلْمًا

[AI] Narrated by Abdullah ibn Masud, he said: "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'The world will not end until Allah sends a man from my Ahlul-Bayt (Prophet's household) whose name matches my name, and whose father's name matches my father's name.'"

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَذْهَبُ الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى يَبْعَثَ اللهُ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِي وَاسْمُ أَبِيهِ اسْمَ أَبِي»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Hour will not be established until a man from my household rises, whose name matches my name. He will fill the earth with justice and equity, just as it has been filled with oppression and injustice."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَمْلِكَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِي يَمْلَأُ الْأَرْضَ عَدْلًا وَقِسْطًا كَمَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلْمًا وَجَوْرًا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The world will not end until a man from my household, whose name matches mine, will rule."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَذْهَبُ الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى يَمْلِكَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِي»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The days and nights will not pass until a man from my household will rule, and his name will be the same as mine. He will fill the earth with justice as it was filled with oppression and injustice."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَذْهَبُ الْأَيَّامُ وَاللَّيَالِي حَتَّى يَمْلِكَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِي يَمْلَأُ الْأَرْضَ عَدْلًا كَمَا مُلِئَتْ جَوْرًا وَظُلْمًا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The world will not come to an end until a man from my family fills the earth with justice and fairness, just as it was filled with oppression and tyranny. His name will match mine."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَذْهَبُ الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى يَلِيَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يَمْلَأُ الْأَرْضَ قِسْطًا وَعَدْلًا كَمَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلْمًا وَجَوْرًا يُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِي»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The world will not come to an end until a man from my household comes forward whose name matches my name."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَنْقَضِي الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى يَلِيَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِي»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If there remained only one day in the world, Allah would lengthen that day until He sends in it a man from among me or from my family, whose name will match my name and his father's name will match my father's name."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَوْ لَمْ يَبْقَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا يَوْمٌ لَطَوَّلَ اللهُ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ حَتَّى يَبْعَثَ اللهُ فِيهِ رَجُلًا مِنِّي أَوْ مِنْ أَهْلِي أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِي وَاسْمُ أَبِيهِ اسْمَ أَبِي»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If there was only one night left in the world, Allah would prolong that night until a man from my family rises, whose name matches my name and his father's name matches my father's name. He will fill the earth with justice and fairness, as it has been filled with oppression and injustice."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَوْ لَمْ يَبْقَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا لَيْلَةٌ لَطَوَّلَ اللهُ تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ حَتَّى يَمْلِكَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِي وَاسْمُ أَبِيهِ اسْمَ أَبِي يَمْلَأُهَا قِسْطًا وَعَدْلًا كَمَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلْمًا وَجَوْرًا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The world will not come to an end until a man from my household, whose name matches mine, fills the earth with justice and fairness, just as it was filled with oppression and injustice."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَذْهَبُ الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى يَمْلِكَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يُوَافِقُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِي يَمْلَأُ الْأَرْضَ قِسْطًا وَعَدْلًا كَمَا مُلِئَتْ جَوْرًا وَظُلْمًا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The world will not end until a man from my household emerges who bears my name." They asked, "Yes?"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَذْهَبُ الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى يَمْلِكَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي يُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِي» ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ

"لَوْ لَمْ يَبْقَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا إِلا يَوْمٌ لَطَوَّلَ الله ذَلِك الْيَوْمَ حَتَّى يُبعثَ فِيهِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أفضَلِ بَيتِى يُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِى وَاسْمُ أَبِيهِ اسْمَ أبِي يَمْلأ الأَرْضَ قِسْطًا وَعَدْلًا كَمَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلمًا وَجَوْرًا".

"لاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَمْلِكَ الأرضَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أهْلِ بَيْتِى أَجْلَى أَقْنَى يَمْلأُ الأرْضَ عَدْلًا، كمَا مُلِئَتْ قَبْلَهُ ظُلمًا، يَكُونُ سَبع سنينَ".

"لاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تَمتَلِئَ الأرضُ ظُلْمًا وَعُدْوَانًا، ثُمَّ يَخْرجَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ عِتْرَتِى فَيَملأَهَا قِسْطًا وَعَدْلًا كَمَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلمًا وَعُدْوَانًا".

"لاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَلِىَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِى يُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِى".

"يَخْرُجُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِى يُواطِئُ اسمُه اسْمى، وخَلقه خَلقى، فيملؤها عدلًا وقِسْطًا كَمَا مُلِئتْ ظُلمًا وَجوْرًا".

"يَلِى رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِى يُواطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِى، لَوْ لَمْ يَبْقَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا يَوْم لَطَوَّلَ اللَّه ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ حَتَّى يَلِى".

"يَمْلِكُ النَّاسَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِى، اسْمُهُ اسْمِى، وَاسْمُ أَبِيه اسْمُ أَبِى، يَمْلأُ الأَرْضَ قِسْطًا وَعَدْلًا، كَمَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلمًا وَجَوْرًا".
