لَهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ مَا شَأْنُكَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ تُحَدِّثُ نَفْسَكَ؟ قَالَ وَمَا لِي يُرِيدُ عَدُوُّ اللَّهِ أَنْ يُلْهِيَنِي عَنْ كَلَامٍ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تُكَابِدْ وَهْرَكَ الْآدَمِي أَلَا تَخْرُجُ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَتُحَدِّثُ وَأَنَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ جَاهَدَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللَّهِ وَمَنْ جَلَسَ فِي بَيْتِهِ لَا يَغْتَابُ أَحَدًا بِسُوءٍ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللَّهِ وَمَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللَّهِ وَمَنْ غَدَا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ أَوْ رَاحَ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللَّهِ وَمَنْ دَخَلَ عَلَى إِمَامٍ يُعَزِّرُهُ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللَّهِ فَيُرِيدُ عَدُوُّ اللَّهِ أَنْ يُخْرِجَنِي مِنْ بَيْتِي إِلَى الْمَجْلِسِ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever strives in the cause of Allah, Allah will guarantee him (protection) and whoever enters upon an Imam who supports him, Allah will guarantee him (protection), and whoever sits in his home without speaking ill of anyone, Allah will guarantee him (protection)."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ جَاهَدَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللَّهِ وَمَنْ دَخَلَ عَلَى إِمَامِ يُعَزِّرُهُ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللَّهِ وَمَنْ جَلَسَ فِي بَيْتِهِ لَمْ يَغْتَبْ أَحَدًا بِسُوءٍ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللَّهِ»

[AI] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: "Whoever strives in the cause of Allah is guaranteed by Allah, and whoever visits a sick person is guaranteed by Allah, and whoever goes to the mosque or goes on a journey is guaranteed by Allah, and whoever enters upon an Imam who supports him is guaranteed by Allah, and whoever sits in his house without gossiping about anyone is guaranteed by Allah."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ جَاهَدَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللَّهِ وَمَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللَّهِ وَمَنْ غَدَا إِلَى مَسْجِدٍ أَوْ رَاحَ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللَّهِ وَمَنْ دَخَلَ عَلَى إِمَامٍ يُعَزِّزُهُ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللَّهِ وَمَنْ جَلَسَ فِي بَيْتِهِ لَمْ يَغْتَبْ إِنْسَانًا كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللَّهِ»

[AI] Abdullah said, "What's the matter with you, Abu Abdur-Rahman? You seem to be talking to yourself." He replied, "What's wrong with me? The enemy of Allah wants to distract me from what I heard from Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." He said to me, "Engage in worship now, for the rest of your life, in your house. Do not go out to the gathering. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Whoever strives in the cause of Allah, Allah will guarantee his safety. And whoever visits a sick person or travels, Allah will guarantee his safety. And whoever sits in his house and does not backbite anyone, Allah will guarantee his safety.'" So, the enemy of Allah wants to make me leave my house and go to the gathering.

لَهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ مَا شَأْنُكَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ تُحَدِّثُ نَفْسَكَ؟ فَقَالَ مَا لِي؟ يُرِيدُ عَدُوُّ اللهِ أَنْ يَلْفِتَنِي عَمَّا سَمِعْتُ مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِي تُكَابِدُ الْآنَ دَهْرَكَ فِي بَيْتِكَ لَا تَخْرُجُ إِلَى الْمَجْلِسِ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ جَاهَدَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللهِ ﷻ وَمَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللهِ ﷻ وَمَنْ غَدَا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ أَوْ رَاحَ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللهِ وَمَنْ جَلَسَ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَلَمْ يَغْتَبْ أَحَدًا بِسُوءٍ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللهِ» فَيُرِيدُ عَدُوُّ اللهِ أَنْ يُخْرِجَنِي مِنْ بَيْتِي إِلَى الْمَجْلِسِ

[AI] I heard the Prophet of Allah ﷺ saying, "Your struggle (i.e., jihad) now is in your home. Do not go out to the assembly and speak. And I heard the Prophet of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever strives in the cause of Allah, he is guaranteed by Allah. And whoever stays in his home and does not slander anyone with evil, he is guaranteed by Allah. And whoever visits a sick person, he is guaranteed by Allah. And whoever goes to the mosque and returns, he is guaranteed by Allah. And whoever enters upon an Imam who honors him, he is guaranteed by Allah.' So, the enemy of Allah wants to remove him from my house to the assembly."

كَلَامٍ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مُكَابِدٌ دَهْرَكَ الْآنَ فِي بَيْتِكَ أَلَا تَخْرُجُ إِلَى الْمَجْلِسِ فَتَحَدَّثُ وَأَنَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ جَاهَدَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللهِ وَمَنْ جَلَسَ فِي بَيْتِهِ لَا يَغْتَابُ أَحَدًا بِسُوءٍ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللهِ وَمَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللهِ وَمَنْ غَدَا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ وَرَاحَ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللهِ وَمَنْ دَخَلَ عَلَى إِمَامٍ يُعَزِّرُهُ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللهِ فَيُرِيدُ عَدُوُّ اللهِ أَنْ يُخْرِجَهُ مِنْ بَيْتِي إِلَى الْمَجْلِسِ
