It was said to Anas "What did you hear the Prophet ﷺ saying about garlic?" Anas replied, "Whoever has eaten (garlic) should not approach our mosque."
سَمِعْتَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي الثُّومِ فَقَالَ مَنْ أَكَلَ فَلاَ يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدَنَا
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He who eats of this (offensive) plant must not approach our mosque, till its odor dies: (plant signifies) garlic.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْبَقْلَةِ فَلاَ يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسَاجِدَنَا حَتَّى يَذْهَبَ رِيحُهَا يَعْنِي الثُّومَ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He who eats of this plant (garlic) should not approach our mosque and should not harm us with the odour of garlic.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ فَلاَ يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدَنَا وَلاَ يُؤْذِيَنَّا بِرِيحِ الثُّومِ
The garlic and onions were mentioned before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He was told: The most severe of them is garlic. Would you make it unlawful? The Prophet ﷺ said: Eat it, and he who eats it should not come near this mosque until its odour goes away.
أَنَّهُ ذُكِرَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الثُّومُ وَالْبَصَلُ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَأَشَدُّ ذَلِكَ كُلِّهِ الثُّومُ أَفَتُحَرِّمُهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ كُلُوهُ وَمَنْ أَكَلَهُ مِنْكُمْ فَلاَ يَقْرَبْ هَذَا الْمَسْجِدَ حَتَّى يَذْهَبَ رِيحُهُ مِنْهُ
The Prophet ﷺ said: He who eats from this plant should not come near the mosques.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ فَلاَ يَقْرَبَنَّ الْمَسَاجِدَ
[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said in the Battle of Khaybar, "Whoever eats from this tree, meaning garlic, should not come to the mosques."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ فِي غَزْوَةِ خَيْبَرَ «مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ يَعْنِي الثُّومَ فَلَا يَأْتِيَنَّ الْمَسَاجِدَ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever eats from this tree, meaning garlic, should not come near our mosque and should not harm us with the smell of garlic."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ يَعْنِي الثُّومَ فَلَا يُؤْذِينَا فِي مَسْجِدِنَا وَقَالَ فِي مَوْضِعٍ آخَرَ فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدَنَا وَلَا يُؤْذِينَا بِرِيحِ الثُّومِ
[AI] The Prophet ﷺ found the smell of garlic in the mosque and said, "Whoever has eaten from this foul tree should not come near our mosque."
وَجَدَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ رِيحَ ثُومٍ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ الْخَبِيثَةِ فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدَنَا
Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Said ibn al- Musayyab that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Anyone who eats this plant should not come near our mosques. The smell of the garlic will offend us."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ فَلاَ يَقْرُبْ مَسَاجِدَنَا يُؤْذِينَا بِرِيحِ الثُّومِ
ذِكْرُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ أَنْ يَحْضُرَ آكِلُ الشَّجَرَةِ الْخَبِيثَةِ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ الْمَسَاجِدَ
Zirr ibn Hubaysh said: Hudhayfah traced, I think, to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ the saying: He who spits in the direction of the qiblah will come on the Day of Resurrection in the state that his saliva will be between his eyes; and he who eats from this noxious vegetable should not come near our mosque, saying it three times. [AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever eats from these dates should not deceive us in our mosques."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْبَقْلَةِ فَلَا يَغْشَنَا فِي مَسَاجِدِنَا»
[AI] "From his father, and he had companionship with the Prophet ﷺ . He said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever eats from this garlic, then let him not approach our mosque.'"
عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَكَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْبَقْلَةِ فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدِنَا يَعْنِي الثُّومَ»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ الْخَبِيثَةِ فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدِنَا» أَعْنِي الثَّوْمَ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever eats from this onion, let him not come near our mosque until its smell has gone away, meaning garlic."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْبَقْلَةِ فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدَنَا حَتَّى يَذْهَبَ رِيحُهَا يَعْنِي الثُّومَ

"مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ -يَعْنى: الثَّوْم- فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مُصَلَّانَا".
"مَنْ أَكَلَ من هَذه الشَّجَرَة شَيئًا، فَلا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدَنا إِلَّا مِن عُذْر".
"مَنْ أَكَلَ مِن هَذه الْبَقْلَةِ الْخَبِيثَةِ -يعني الثوم- فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدَنَا" "يعني الثوم"
"مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِه الشَّجرَة فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدَنَا".
"مَنْ أكَلَ مِنْ هَذِه الشَّجَرَةِ فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَساجِدَنَا -يعني الثَّوم-".
"مَنْ أكَلَ مِنْ هَذِه الْخَضِرَاوَات: الْبَصَل- والَّثْومَ والكُرَّاتَ والْفِجْلَ فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدَنَا".
"مَن أكَلَ مِنْ هَذِه الشَّجَرةِ الْخَبِيثَةِ -يَعْني: الثَّومَ- فَلَا يَقْربَنَّ الْمَسْجِد فَإِنَّ الْمَلائكَة تَتَأَذَّى مِمَّا يَتَأذَّى مِنْه ابنُ آدَمَ".
"مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِه الشَّجَرَةِ -يَعْنِي الثَّوْمَ- فَلا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدَنَا، وَلا يَأتِينا يَمْسَحُ جَبْهَتَهُ".
"مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ، فَلَا يَقْرَبْنَا وَلَا يُصَلِّيَنَّ مَعَنَا".
"مَنْ أَكَلَ مِن هَذِه الشَّجرَة -يعني الثَّومَ- فَلا يَقْرَبَنَ مَسْجِدَنَا حتى يذهبَ رِيحُها".
"مَنْ أكَلَ مِنْ هَاتَين الشَّجَرَتَين فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَ مَسْجدَنا" .
"مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِه الشَّجَرَةِ فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدَنَا، وَلَا يُؤْذِينا بِرِيحِ الثَّومِ".
"مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِه الشَّجَرَةِ، فَلا يَقْرَبَنَّ المَسَاجِدَ".
"مَن أَكَل مِن هَذِه الشَّجَرَةِ الخَبِيثَةِ فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مُصَلانا حَتَّى يَذْهَبَ رِيحُها".
"مَنْ أَكَل مِن هَذِه الْبَقْلَةِ الْخَبِيثةِ فلا يَقْرَبْنَا".
"مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِه الْبَقْلَةِ -يعني الثومَ- فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدَنَا".
"مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْبَقلَةِ الْمُنْكَرَةِ -يَعْنِي الثَّومَ- فَليَجْلِسْ في بَيتِه".
