BAYHAQI 1765:
from Jābir b. ʿAbdullāh —
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are two Dawns. As for the Dawn which appears like the tail of a fox, it does not allow the prayer and does not prohibit food. As for the Dawn which spreads horizontally across the horizon, it allows the prayer and prohibits food. This is how it has been narrated with this connected chain of transmission and this transmitted chain of transmission and it is the most authentic."
البيهقي ١٧٦٥:
عن جابر بن عبد الله —
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْفَجْرُ فَجْرَانِ فَأَمَّا الْفَجْرُ الَّذِي يَكُونُ كَذَنَبِ السِّرْحَانِ فَلَا يُحِلُّ الصَّلَاةَ وَلَا يُحَرِّمُ الطَّعَامَ وَأَمَّا الَّذِي يَذْهَبُ مُسْتَطِيلًا فِي الْأُفُقِ فَإِنَّهُ يُحِلُّ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُحَرِّمُ الطَّعَامَ هَكَذَا رُوِيَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ مَوْصُولًا وَرُوِيَ مُرْسَلًا وَهُوَ أَصَحُّ
