Sa'id ibn AbulHasan said: When AbuBakrah came to us to give some evidence, a man got up from his place, but he refused to sit in it saying: The Prophet ﷺ forbade this, and the Prophet ﷺ forbade anyone to wipe his hand on the garment of anyone whose clothing he had not himself provided.
[AI] I heard a servant of the family of Abi Musa Al-Ash'ari, who was called Abu Abdullah, saying: I heard Sa'id ibn Abi Al-Hasan Al-Basri narrating from Abu Bakrah that he was invited to testify once, so he came to the house. A man from his gathering stood up for him and said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited us, when a man stands up for another man from his gathering, to sit in it and for the man to wipe his hand on the garment of someone who does not possess it."
[AI] Narrated by Abu Abdullah, the servant of Abu Musa, who heard Sa'id ibn Abi al-Hasan say: Abu Bakrah came to us to give testimony, and a man from his gathering stood up for him. Abu Bakrah said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: A man should not stand up for another man from his gathering and then sit in the same gathering after that. He also should not wipe his hands on the garment of someone who does not possess it."
[AI] From Abu Abdullah, the servant of Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari, from Sa'id ibn Abi Hassan who said: "We were in a gathering, bearing witness, when Abu Bakrah entered upon us. A man stood up from his seat and Abu Bakrah said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "A man should not establish the prayer of another man in his gathering, then sit in it, and you should not wipe your hand on the garment of someone you do not own." The two sheikhs (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) agreed on the hadith of standing, but they did not mention the hadith of the garment, which is sahih in its chain of narration."
[AI] Abu Bakrah came as a witness, and a man from his gathering stood up for him. Abu Bakrah refused to sit with him and said, "The Prophet ﷺ prohibited touching a person's hand with a garment of someone who is not wearing it."
[AI] Abu Bakrah entered upon them during a testimony, and a man from his assembly stood up for him. Abu Bakrah said, "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'If a man stands up for you from his assembly, do not sit in it or stand up for another person from his assembly, and do not wipe your hand with the garment of someone you do not have ownership of, as it is possible that the hadith is from the Prophet ﷺ regarding his prohibition of staying in one place too long.'"
