"عَنْ شَيْبَةَ قَالَ: دَخَلَ النَّبىُّ ﷺ الكَعْبَةَ فَصَلَّى فِيهَا رَكْعَتيْنِ، فَإِذَا فيهَا تَصَاوِيرُ، فَقَالَ: يَا شَيْبَةُ اكفِنى شَرَّهُ. فَاشْتَدَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِ، فَقالَ لَهُ رَجُل: اطيِّنْهَا ثُمَّ (*) الطخُهَا بزَعْفَرَان، فَفَعَلَ".
[Machine] The Prophet entered the Kaaba and performed two units of prayer. He saw images inside it and said, "O elder, cover these for me." This greatly troubled the elder, and a man from the people of Persia said to him, "If you wish, I will polish them and stain them with saffron." So, he did it.
دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْكَعْبَةَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَرَأَى فِيهَا تَصَاوِيرَ فَقَالَ «يَا شَيْبَةُ اكْفِنِي هَذِهِ» فَاشْتَدَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى شَيْبَةَ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ فَارِسَ إِنْ شِئْتَ طَلَيْتُهَا وَلَطَخْتُهَا بِزَعْفَرَانَ فَفَعَلَ
