quran:96:1 – In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

Recite in the name of your Lord who created -  

Recite, bring recitation into existence, beginning with: In the Name of your Lord Who created, all creatures;
القرآن:٩٦:١ – بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ  

{اقرأ} أوجد القراءة مبتدئا {باسم ربك الذي خلق} الخلائق.

سَجَدْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي { إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ } وَ { اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ }  

tirmidhi:573 – Qutaybah b. Saʿīd > Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah > Ayyūb b. Mūsá > ʿAṭāʾ b. Mīnāʾ > Abū Hurayrah

"We prostrated with the Messenger of Allah in: 'Read! In the Name of your Lord' and 'When the heaven is split asunder.'"  

الترمذي:٥٧٣ – حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ مِينَاءَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

سَجَدْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي (اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ ) وَ (إِذََا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ )  

ذِكْرُ مَا يُسْتَحَبُّ لِلْمَرْءِ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ عِنْدَ قِرَاءَتِهِ سُورَةَ اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ

ibnhibban:2767 – al-Ḥasan b. Sufyān > Abū Bakr b. Abū Shaybah > Ibn ʿUyaynah > Ayyūb b. Mūsá > ʿAṭāʾ b. Mīnāʾ > Abū Hurayrah

"We prostrated with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during: When the heaven is split asunder and Read! In the Name of your Lord." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 963)  

ابن حبّان:٢٧٦٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ مِينَاءَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

«سَجَدْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ وَاقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ»  

tabarani:8731 – ʿAlī b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz > Ḥajjāj b. al-Minhāl > Ḥammād b. Salamah > Dāwud b. Abū Hind > al-Shaʿbī Aḥsibuh > ʿAlqamah
