to bring you every cunning sorcerer’, to surpass Moses in the art of magic.

يَأْتُوكَ بِكُلِّ سَحَّارٍ عَلِيمٍ  

{يأتوك بكل سَحَّار عليم} يفضل موسى في علم السحر.

to bring you every cunning sorcerer’ (sāhir: a variant reading has sahhār) to outdo Moses in the art of magic. And so they summoned ˹them˺.
