nasai:4186 – Qutaybah > Ḥātim b. Ismāʿīl > Yazīd b. Abū ʿUbayd > Salamah b. al-Akwaʿ

O son of Al-Akwa, you have turned on your heels (i.e., deserted Islam) by staying in the desert with the Bedouins." He said: "No; the Messenger of Allah gave me permission to stay in the desert with the Bedouins.  

النسائي:٤١٨٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الأَكْوَعِ أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى الْحَجَّاجِ فَقَالَ يَا ابْنَ الأَكْوَعِ ارْتَدَدْتَ عَلَى عَقِبَيْكَ وَذَكَرَ كَلِمَةً مَعْنَاهَا وَبَدَوْتَ قَالَ

لاَ وَلَكِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَذِنَ لِي فِي الْبُدُوِّ

muslim:1862 – Qutaybah b. Saʿīd > Ḥātim / Ibn Ismāʿīl > Yazīd b. Abū ʿUbayd > Salamah b. al-Akwaʿ

O son of al-Akwa', you have turned apostate and have come to live again in the desert with the Bedouins (after your migration). He said: No, but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has permitted me to live in the desert.  

مسلم:١٨٦٢ – حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الأَكْوَعِ أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى الْحَجَّاجِ فَقَالَ يَا ابْنَ الأَكْوَعِ ارْتَدَدْتَ عَلَى عَقِبَيْكَ تَعَرَّبْتَ قَالَ

لاَ وَلَكِنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَذِنَ لِي فِي الْبَدْوِ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ had two Muadhins.  

أحمد:٥٦٨٦ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ مُؤَذِّنَانِ  

ahmad:20857 –

[Machine] And he said, "There was no Adhan (call to prayer) for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the two Eids."  

أحمد:٢٠٨٥٧ –

وَقَالَ لَمْ يَكُنْ يُؤَذَّنُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ  

nasai-kubra:7761 – Qutaybah b. Saʿīd > Ḥātim > Yazīd b. Abū ʿUbayd > Salamah b. al-Akwaʿ
