It was narrated from Anas that the Messenger of Allah manumitted Safiyyah and made her freedom her dowry.  

النسائي:٣٣٤٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ح وَأَنْبَأَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ ابْنِ الْحَبْحَابِ

عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَعْتَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَفِيَّةَ وَجَعَلَ عِتْقَهَا مَهْرَهَا وَاللَّفْظُ لِمُحَمَّدٍ

Anas bin ‘Malik said “The Prophet ﷺ manumitted Safiyyah and made her manumission her dower.”
