"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When the call to prayer is given, the Shaitan runs away breaking wind loudly. When the Tathwb (Iqamah) is completed, he comes back and whispers to a man in his hear, until he does not know how many (rak'ahs) he has prayed. If any one of you notices that, let him prostrate twice.'"  

النسائي:١٢٥٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ هِلاَلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ عَنْ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتَوَائِيِّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلاَةِ أَدْبَرَ الشَّيْطَانُ لَهُ ضُرَاطٌ فَإِذَا قُضِيَ التَّثْوِيبُ أَقْبَلَ حَتَّى يَخْطُرَ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ حَتَّى لاَ يَدْرِي كَمْ صَلَّى فَإِذَا رَأَى أَحَدُكُمْ ذَلِكَ فَلْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the call to prayer is proclaimed, the devil runs away in a hurry. And when the Mu'adh-dhin becomes silent, he comes creeping between you and your soul to make you forget your prayer, so that you do not even know how much you have prayed. So, whoever finds something of that, let them perform two prostrations."  

أحمد:١٠٥٤٣ – حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا ثُوِّبَ بِالصَّلَاةِ أَدْبَرَ الشَّيْطَانُ لَهُ ضُرَاطٌ وَإِذَا سَكَتَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ خَطَرَ بَيْنَ أَحَدِكُمْ وَبَيْنَ نَفْسِهِ حَتَّى يُنْسِيَهُ صَلَاتَهُ فَلَا يَدْرِيَ كَمْ صَلَّى فَمَنْ وَجَدَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا فَلْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ

[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said: "When the Mu'adhin calls for prayer, the Shaytan retreats, scratching at himself. When the Mu'adhin finishes the call, the Shaytan returns. And when the Imam starts reciting the Quran, the Shaytan retreats, scratching at himself. When the Imam finishes reciting, the Shaytan returns and whispers to the person until he does not know how much he has prayed. So when one of you realizes this, let him perform two prostrations while seated."  

ابن حبّان:١٦٦٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

"إذا أذَّن المؤذِّن أدبر الشيطانُ وله ضراطٌ، فإذا سكت أقبل، فإذا ثوَّبَ أدبر وله ضراطٌ، فإذا سكت أقبل يخطُر بين المرءِ ونفسهِ حتى يظلَّ الرجلُ لا يدرى كم صلَّى، فإذا صلى أحدُكم فوجد ذلك فليسجد سجدتين وهو جالس".
