[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I was shown that I entered paradise and I heard footsteps in front of me." So I asked, "Who is this, O Gabriel?" He said, "This is Bilal. Whenever the wind blows his white robe, a maiden approaches." So I asked, "Whose is this, O Gabriel?" He said, "This is for Umar ibn al-Khattab."  

الكبرى للنسائي:٨١٧٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا نُصَيْرُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أُرِيتُ أَنِّي دَخَلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ وَسَمِعْتُ خَشْفًا أَمَامِي» فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا يَا جِبْرِيلُ؟ قَالَ هَذَا بِلَالٌ «فَإِذَا قَصْرٌ أَبْيَضُ بِفِنَائِهِ جَارِيَةٌ» فَقُلْتُ لِمَنْ هَذَا يَا جِبْرِيلُ؟ قَالَ «هَذَا لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ»

"رأَيْتُنى دَخَلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ فَإِذَا أَنَا بِالرُّمَيْصَاءَ، امْرَأَةِ أَبِى طَلْحَةَ، وَسَمِعْتُ خَشَفًا أَمَامىِ، فَقُلْتُ: مِنْ هَذَا يَا جِبْريلُ؟ قَالَ: هَذَا بِلَالٌ، وَرَأَيْتُ قصْرًا أَبْيَضَ بِفَنائِهِ جَارِيَةٌ، فَقُلْتُ: لِمَنْ هَذَا الْقَصْرُ؟ قالُوا: لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، فَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَدْخُلَهُ فَأَنْظُرَ إِلَيْهِ فَذَكَرْتُ غَيْرَتَكَ".

The Prophet ﷺ said, "I saw myself (in a dream) entering Paradise, and behold! I saw Ar-Rumaisa', Abu Talha's wife. I heard footsteps. I asked, Who is it? Somebody said, 'It is Bilal ' Then I saw a palace and a lady sitting in its courtyard. I asked, 'For whom is this palace?' Somebody replied, 'It is for ʿUmar.' I intended to enter it and see it, but I thought of your (ʿUmar's) Ghira (and gave up the attempt)." ʿUmar said, "Let my parents be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! How dare I think of my Ghira (self-respect) being offended by you? (Using translation from Bukhārī 3679)   

السيوطي:٣٠٢١a –

"أُرِيتُ أنى دخلتُ الجنةَ فإذا أنا بالرُّمَيصاء امرأةِ أبي طلحة وسمعتُ خَشْفًا أمامى. فقلتُ: من هذا يا جبريلُ؟ قال: هذا بلالٌ ورأيتُ قصرًا أبيضَ بفنائِهِ جاريةٌ.

فقلتُ: لمن هذا القصرُ؟ قالت: لعمر بن الخطاب, فأردتُ أنْ أدخلَه فأنظرَ إليه فذكرتُ غيرتَك ".
