"The Messenger of Allah said: 'It is not righteousness to fast when traveling."' (Sahih) Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasai) said: This is a mistake, and what is correct is the one that is before it. We do not know of anyone who followed up Ibn Kathir.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا خَطَأٌ وَالصَّوَابُ الَّذِي قَبْلَهُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا تَابَعَ ابْنَ كَثِيرٍ عَلَيْهِ

I heard Ibn 'Abbas deliver a Khutbah from your Minbar - meaning the Minbar in Al-Basrah - saying: 'Sadaqatul Fitr is a Sa' of food." (Sahih) Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa'i) said: This is the most reliable of the three.

أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا أَثْبَتُ الثَّلاَثَةِ

"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Whoever changes his religion, kill him.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ بَدَّلَ دِينَهُ فَاقْتُلُوهُ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَهَذَا أَوْلَى بِالصَّوَابِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَبَّادٍ

[AI] "That Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, 'I passed by the grave of Moses while he was praying.' Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (one of the narrators) said, 'This narration is more accurate than the one before it, as it contradicts Al-Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَرَرْتُ عَلَى مُوسَى وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فِي قَبْرِهِ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَهَذَا أَوْلَى بِالصَّوَابِ مِنَ الَّذِي قَبْلُهُ خَالَفَهُ الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ

the Messenger of Allah cut off (a thief's hand) for a shield. (Sahih) Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasai) said: This is a mistake. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4911)

أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا خَطَأٌ

[AI] We have Abu Abdurrahman, none of which is accurate, and the stopped version is more correct.

لَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَا فِيهِ شَيْءٌ صَحِيحٌ وَالْمَوْقُوفُ أَصَحُّ هَذَا أَوْلَى بِالصَّوَابِ

[AI] "Abu Abdul Rahman, and this is more correct."

أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَهَذَا أَوْلَى بِالصَّوَابِ

[AI] I saw the Prophet ﷺ using it. Abu Abdur Rahman said, "And this is more correct than what came before it, and Allah knows best."

رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُصَفِّرُ بِهَا قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ «وَهَذَا أَوْلَى بِالصَّوَابِ مِنَ الَّذِي قَبْلَهُ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ»

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prevented me from wearing a ring on this finger and on the middle finger or the one that follows it." Abu Abdur-Rahman said to us, "This is more correct than what came before it."

«نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ أَتَخَتَّمَ فِي إِصْبَعِي هَذِهِ وَفِي الْوُسْطَى أَوِ الَّتِي تَلِيهَا» قَالَ لَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ «وَهَذَا أَوْلَى بِالصَّوَابِ مِنَ الَّذِي قَبْلَهُ»
