Thursday, and what about Thursday? Then tears began to flow until I saw them on his cheeks as it they were the strings of pearls. He (the narrator) said that Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Bring me a shoulder blade and ink-pot (or tablet and inkpot), so that I write for you a document (by following which) you would never go astray. They said: Messenger of Allah (may peace upon him) is in the state of unconsciousness.

أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَوْمُ الْخَمِيسِ وَمَا يَوْمُ الْخَمِيسِ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ تَسِيلُ دُمُوعُهُ حَتَّى رَأَيْتُ عَلَى خَدَّيْهِ كَأَنَّهَا نِظَامُ اللُّؤْلُؤِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ائْتُونِي بِالْكَتِفِ وَالدَّوَاةِ أَوِ اللَّوْحِ وَالدَّوَاةِ أَكْتُبْ لَكُمْ كِتَابًا لَنْ تَضِلُّوا بَعْدَهُ أَبَدًا فَقَالُوا إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَهْجُرُ

[AI] On Thursday, I looked at his tears on his cheeks, flowing as if they were pearl droplets. He said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Bring me the board and inkwell, or the shoulder. I will write for you a book that will never lead you astray.'" They said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ is leaving us!"

يَوْمُ الْخَمِيسِ وَمَا يَوْمُ الْخَمِيسِ ثُمَّ نَظَرْتُ إِلَى دُمُوعِهِ عَلَى خَدَّيْهِ تَحْدُرُ كَأَنَّهَا نِظَامُ اللُّؤْلُؤِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ائْتُونِي بِاللَّوْحِ وَالدَّوَاةِ أَوِ الْكَتِفِ أَكْتُبْ لَكُمْ كِتَابًا لَا تَضِلُّوا بَعْدَهُ أَبَدًا فَقَالُوا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَهْجُرُ!

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Bring me a writing board and a shoulder, and I will write a book for you that you will never go astray after." Then, he turned away from us and Allah and the believers do not accept anyone but Abu Bakr." Its chain of narrators is authentic.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «ائْتِنِي بِدَوَاةٍ وَكَتِفٍ أَكْتُبُ لَكُمْ كِتَابًا لَنْ تَضِلُّوا بَعْدَهُ أَبَدًا» ثُمَّ وَلَّانَا قَفَاهُ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا فَقَالَ «يَأْبَى اللَّهُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَّا أَبَا بَكْرٍ» إسناده صحيح

"إيتنى بدواةٍ وكَتِفٍ أكتُبْ لكم كتابًا لا تضلوا بعده أبدًا ثم قال: يأبى اللهُ والمؤمنونَ إلَّا أبَا بكرٍ".
