Jāhimah came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah! I want to go out and fight (in the path of Allah) and I have come to ask your advice." He said: "Do you have a mother?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Then stick with her, for Jannah is beneath her feet."  

أَنَّ جَاهِمَةَ جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَغْزُوَ وَقَدْ جِئْتُ أَسْتَشِيرُكَ. فَقَالَ: «هَلْ لَكَ مِنْ أُمٍّ؟» قَالَ: نَعَمْ. قَالَ: «فَالْزَمْهَا، فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ تَحْتَ رِجْلَيْهَا.»  

[Machine] Jahimah came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I want to participate in a military expedition and I have come to seek your advice." The Messenger of Allah asked, "Do you have a mother?" He replied, "Yes." The Prophet said, "Stay with her, for Paradise is beneath her feet. Then go to the second one, and then the third, in various dwellings similar to this saying."  

أَنَّ جَاهِمَةَ جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَرَدْتُ الْغَزْوَ وَجِئْتُكَ أَسْتَشِيرُكَ فَقَالَ هَلْ لَكَ مِنْ أُمٍّ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَقَالَ الْزَمْهَا فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ عِنْدَ رِجْلِهَا ثُمَّ الثَّانِيَةَ ثُمَّ الثَّالِثَةَ فِي مَقَاعِدَ شَتَّى كَمِثْلِ هَذَا الْقَوْلِ  

[Machine] "That Jaheemah came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'I wanted to participate in a battle and I have come to seek your advice.' The Prophet responded, 'Do you still have your mother?' Jaheemah replied, 'Yes.' The Prophet then advised, 'Stay with her, for Paradise is beneath her feet.'"  

أَنَّ جَاهِمَةَ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَغْزُوَ وَجِئْتُ أَسْتَشِيرُكَ فَقَالَ «أَلَكَ وَالِدَةٌ؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ «اذْهَبْ فَالْزَمْهَا فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ عِنْدَ رِجْلَيْهَا»  

[Machine] That Jāhimah came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Indeed, I want to participate in a battle, so I came to seek your advice." He replied, "Do you still have a living mother?" He said, "Yes." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Then stay with her, for paradise is beneath her feet."  

أَنَّ جَاهِمَةَ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَغْزُوَ فَجِئْتُ أَسْتَشِيرُكَ قَالَ «أَلَكَ وَالِدَةٌ؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ «اذْهَبْ فَالْزَمْهَا فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ عِنْدَ رِجْلَيْهَا»  

[Machine] I came to the Prophet and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I want to Jihad in the way of Allah." He said, "Is your mother alive?" I said, "Yes." The Prophet then said, "Stay by her feet because Paradise is there."  

أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ الْجِهَادَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ قَالَ «أُمُّكَ حَيَّةٌ؟» فَقُلْتُ نَعَمْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «الْزَمْ رِجْلَهَا فَثَمَّ الْجَنَّةُ»  

[Machine] I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to consult him regarding jihad, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "Do you have parents?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Stay with them, for Paradise is beneath their feet."  

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَسْتَشِيرُهُ فِي الْجِهَادِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَلَكَ وَالِدَانِ؟» قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ «الْزَمْهُمَا فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ تَحْتَ أَرْجُلِهِمَا»  

[Machine] "That Jāhimah came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I intended to participate in a battle and I have come to consult you.' The Prophet ﷺ replied, 'Do you have a mother?' He said, 'Yes.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Stay with her, for Paradise lies under her feet, then under her feet, then under her feet, and there are different levels within Paradise. Similar to this saying is the saying of the Sughayyānī hadith.'"  

أَنَّ جَاهِمَةَ ؓ جَاءَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَغْزُوَ وَقَدْ جِئْتُكَ أَسْتَشِيرُكَ فَقَالَ هَلْ لَكَ مِنْ أُمٍّ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَالزَمْهَا؛ فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ عِنْدَ رِجْلَيْهَا ثُمَّ الثَّانِيَةَ ثُمَّ الثَّالِثَةَ فِي مَقَاعِدَ شَتَّى فَكَمِثْلِ هَذَا الْقَوْلِ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ الصَّغَانِيِّ  

"الزم رِجْلَها؛ فثَمَّ الجنَّةُ".
