[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Talbeenah is a mixture for the heart of the sick person, it removes some of the sadness."
"Whenever one of the wives of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ became (feverishly) ill, he would order that some broth be prepared. Then he would tell them to take some of the broth. And he would say: 'It firms the heart of the grieved, and it rids the worries from the heart of the ill just as one of you removes dirt from her face with water." Another chain reports a similar narration. (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2039)
[Machine] "When a member of his family became ill, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would place the camphor on fire, and it would not be removed until it reached both of its ends."
[Machine] "Upon you is the disliked, beneficial herb called talbeenah, which the soul of Muhammad himself, may ﷺ , has in his hand. Indeed, it cleanses the stomach of anyone just as water cleanses dirt from the face." She said, "And when someone among his family complained, the Prophet, may ﷺ , would not cease applying the brand onto the fire until one of his limbs was cured. It would either result in death or in life." Rawh, the daughter of Abi Layth, and Um Kulthoom, the daughter of Amr Ibn Abi Aqrib, said.
[Machine] "When someone from his family or others would fall ill, it would be said to him that he does not eat food. He would say, 'You should give him al-talbeenah, which is made of barley flour and honey, and by the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, it cleanses the stomach of one of you just as one of you cleanses his face with water from impurity.' Aisha said, 'When someone from his family would become ill, the burner would always be kept lit until one of two things would happen: either he would die or he would recover.'"
