أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ
The Apostle of Allah ﷺ used to turn to the right (at the end of the prayer).
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ
"I asked Anas bin Malik: 'How should I leave after I have prayed- to the right or to the left?' He said: 'I usually saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ leave to the right.'
أَمَّا أَنَا فَأَكْثَرُ مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ
[AI] I heard Anas saying, "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) turning away from his right side."
سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ»
Why do you put on the lower garment in this way? He replied: It is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4096)
«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَأْكُلُهُ»
[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik say, "If Ibrahim, the son of the Prophet ﷺ, had lived, he would have been a righteous prophet."
سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ لَوْ عَاشَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ابْنُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لَكَانَ صِدِّيقًا نَبِيًّا
[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned away from the prayer to his right.
سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ انْصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ
[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik say, "The Prophet ﷺ used to perform salah with utmost humility."
سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مِنْ أَخَفِّ النَّاسِ صَلَاةً فِي تَمَامٍ

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pointing with his finger.
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُشِيرُ بِإِصْبَعِهِ.
[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turning away from his sides.
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ شِقَّيْهِ
[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turn away once to his right and once to his left.
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْصَرِفُ مَرَّةً عَنْ يَمِينِهِوَمَرَّةً عَنْ شِمَالِهِ
"We prayed with Abdullah bin Mas'ud in his house. He stood between us and we placed our hands on our knees, but he took them off and made us interlace our fingers, and said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do that.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1030)
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَفْعَلُهُ

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ
"We prayed with Abdullah bin Mas'ud in his house. He stood between us and we placed our hands on our knees, but he took them off and made us interlace our fingers, and said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do that.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1030)
وَقَالَ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَفْعَلُهُ»
[AI] I heard Anas bin Malik saying, "Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ used to prefer or turn away from his right side."
سَمِعْتَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ»
Hulb prayed along with the Prophet ﷺ. He used to turn to both his sides (sometimes to the left and sometimes to the right). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1041)
«أَنَّهُ صَلَّى مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَكَانَ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ شِقَّيْهِ»
[AI] "I saw the messenger of Allah ﷺ praying like this."
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي كَذَلِكَ»
[AI] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turning away from his left towards his house when he greeted."
«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ إِلَى مَنْزِلِهِ إِذَا سَلَّمَ»
[AI] And what would prevent me when I have witnessed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ doing it.
وَمَا يَمْنَعُنِي وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَفْعَلُهُ
I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiping over his leather slippers (when doing wudoo’). (Using translation from Aḥmad 216)
«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَمْسَحُ عَلَيْهِمَا»
[AI] "That the Prophet ﷺ used to give salutations with his right hand."
«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ تَسْلِيمَةً عَنْ يَمِينِهِ»
[AI] I have indeed seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mostly using his right hand.
لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكْثَرَ مَا يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ
[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ used to greet with his right hand and left hand.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ
[AI] The Prophet ﷺ used to pray on a mat.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ «أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى حَصِيرٍ»
"Ibn Abbas wore a ring on his right hand. And I do not doubt he said: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wearing a ring on his right hand.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1742)
«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَتَخَتَّمُ فِي يَمِينِهِ»
[AI] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ drinking from a cup on the day of Arafah."
«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَشْرَبُ مِنْ شَنٍّ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ»
[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ used to greet with his right hand and his left hand.
«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ»
"أنَّ النبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَنْصِرف عَنْ يَمِينِهِ".
