I asked Anas b. Malik whether Messenger of Allah ﷺ dyed his hair. He said: He had not reached the stage when (he needed) dyeing (of his white hair). He had a few white hair in his beard. I said to him: Did Abu Bakr dye his hair? He said: Yes, with hina' (henna).

[Machine] Anas ibn Malik was asked, did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ dye his hair? He replied, no, his hair was not gray. It was then said, O Abu Hamzah, what is gray hair? He said, it is when all of you dislike it. Abu Bakr would dye his hair using henna and katam (a type of hair dye), and Umar would dye his hair using henna.
