muslim:1536j – Isḥāq b. Manṣūr > ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿAbd al-Majīd > Rabāḥ b. Abū Maʿrūf > ʿAṭāʾ > Jābir b. ʿAbdullāh

Jabir b. Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade leasing of land, and selling ahead for years and selling of fruits before they become ripe.  

مسلم:١٥٣٦j – وَحَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا رَبَاحُ بْنُ أَبِي مَعْرُوفٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَطَاءً عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ كِرَاءِ الأَرْضِ وَعَنْ بَيْعِهَا السِّنِينَ وَعَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ حَتَّى يَطِيبَ

Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade (or forbade us) the sale of fruits until they are ripe in a good condition.

نَهَى أَوْ نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ حَتَّى يَطِيبَ  

ذِكْرُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ بَيْعِ الثِّمَارِ عَلَى أَشْجَارِهَا حَتَّى تَطْعَمَ

ibnhibban:4988 – Abū Khalīfah > Musaddad > Sufyān > ʿAmr b. Dīnār > Ṭāwus > Ibn ʿAbbās

"the Messenger of Allah forbade selling the fruit of date palms until they are fit to eat." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4525)
