Abu Qatada reported on the authority of his father that Allah's Apostle ﷺ forbade breathing in a vessel.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ يُتَنَفَّسَ فِي الإِنَاءِ
Anas reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to breathe three times in the course of a drink (i. e. he drank in three gulps).

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ يُتَنَفَّسَ فِي الْإِنَاءِ أَوْ يُنْفَخَ فِيهِ

«نَهَى النبي ﷺ عَنِ الشُّرْبِ مِنْ فِي السِّقَاءِ وَعَنْ أَنْ يُتَنَفَّسَ فِي الْإِنَاءِ»
[AI] The Prophet ﷺ used to blow into a vessel three times. It was narrated by Waki' but it did not mention what was in the vessel.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «كَانَ يَتَنَفَّسُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ ثَلَاثًا» رَوَاهُ وَكِيعٌ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِي الْإِنَاءِ
