The prayer of the Prophet ﷺ used to be of thirteen rakʿat, i.e. of the night prayer.

كَانَ صَلاَةُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً يَعْنِي بِاللَّيْلِ

I heard Ibn 'Abbas saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ observed thirteen rak'ahs at night.

سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً

The Prophet ﷺ used to pray thirteen rak'ahs during the night including the two rak'ahs of the dawn prayer.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي بِاللَّيْلِ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً بِرَكْعَتَىِ الْفَجْرِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray nine rak'ahs at night."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ تِسْعَ رَكَعَاتٍ

“The Prophet ﷺ used to pray thirteen Rak’ah at night.”

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً

ʿAli ؓ was asked about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: He used to pray sixteen rakʿahʿs at night.

عَنْ صَلاةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ سِتَّ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray sixteen rakʿahs at night apart from the prescribed prayers.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ سِتَّ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً سِوَى الْمَكْتُوبَةِ
