ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَنِ الْأَمَارَاتِ الَّتِي تَظْهَرُ قَبْلَ وُقُوعِ الْفِتَنِ

[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: "If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep much, the hypocrisy would be exposed, trust would be lifted, mercy would be withdrawn, the trustworthy would be accused and the untrustworthy would be trusted. I have got you by the horns of honor." They asked, "And what are the horns of honor, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Tribulations like the dark hours of the night."  

ابن حبّان:٦٧٠٦أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ بِبَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ خَالِدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزَّبَادِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا يَظْهَرُ النِّفَاقُ وَتُرْفَعُ الْأَمَانَةُ وَتُقْبَضُ الرَّحْمَةُ وَيُتَّهَمُ الْأَمِينُ وَيُؤْتَمَنُ غَيْرُ الْأَمِينِ أَنَاخَ بِكُمُ الشُّرْفُ الْجُونُ» قَالُوا وَمَا الشُّرْفُ الْجُونُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «فِتَنٌ كَقِطَعِ اللَّيْلِ الْمُظْلِمِ»

Extravagance and stinginess will occur". They said, "What is extravagance and stinginess, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Temptations will occur like the darkness of the night".
