ذِكْرُ نَفْيِ دُخُولِ الْجَنَّةِ عَنِ النَّمَّامِ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

ibnhibban:5765 – ʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad al-Azdī > Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm > Jarīr > Manṣūr > Ibrāhīm > Hammām b. al-Ḥārith

[Machine] "There was a man who used to convey the hadith to the Sultan, and we were sitting with Hudhayfah. Then that man passed by and it was said, 'This is him.' Hudhayfah said, 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'A backbiter will not enter Paradise.'"  

ابن حبّان:٥٧٦٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ

كَانَ رَجُلٌ يَنْقُلُ الْحَدِيثَ إِلَى السُّلْطَانِ فَكُنَّا جُلُوسًا مَعَ حُذَيْفَةَ فَمَرَّ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلُ قِيلَ هُوَ هَذَا فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَتَّاتٌ»

He is one who carries tales to the governor. He (the narrator) said: Then he came and sat with us. Thereupon Hudhaifa remarked: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: The beater of false tales would never enter heaven.

We were sitting with Hudhaifa in the mosque. A man came and sat along with us. It was said to Hudhaifa that he was the man who carried tales to the ruler. Hudhaifa remarked with the intention of conveying to him: I have heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: The tale-bearer will not enter Paradise.  

مسلم:١٠٥c – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ وَوَكِيعٌ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ التَّمِيمِيُّ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ

كُنَّا جُلُوسًا مَعَ حُذَيْفَةَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ حَتَّى جَلَسَ إِلَيْنَا فَقِيلَ لِحُذَيْفَةَ إِنَّ هَذَا يَرْفَعُ إِلَى السُّلْطَانِ أَشْيَاءَ فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ إِرَادَةَ أَنْ يُسْمِعَهُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لاَ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَتَّاتٌ

أحمد:٢٣٣٠٥ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَحْوَلُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ مُنْذُ نَحْوِ سِتِّينَ سَنَةٍ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ

مَرَّ رَجُلٌ عَلَى حُذَيْفَةَ فَقِيلَ إِنَّ هَذَا يَرْفَعُ الْحَدِيثَ إِلَى الْأُمَرَاءِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ أَوْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَتَّاتٌ

أحمد:٢٣٣١٠ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ هَمَّامٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ

كَانَ رَجُلٌ يَرْفَعُ إِلَى عُثْمَانَ الْأَحَادِيثَ مِنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَتَّاتٌ يَعْنِي نَمَّامًا  

ahmad:23434 – Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah > Manṣūr > Ibrāhīm > Hammām b. al-Ḥārith

[Machine] We were with Hudhayfah, and then a man passed by and they said, "Indeed, this person conveys the conversations to the leaders." He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'A backbiter will not enter Paradise.'"  

أحمد:٢٣٤٣٤ – حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ

كُنَّا مَعَ حُذَيْفَةَ فَمَرَّ رَجُلٌ فَقَالُوا إِنَّ هَذَا يُبَلِّغُ الْأُمَرَاءَ الْأَحَادِيثَ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَتَّاتٌ
