ذِكْرُ تَحَرِّي الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ صَوْمَ الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالْخَمِيسِ

ibnhibban:3643 – Muḥammad b. al-Muʿāfá al-ʿĀbid Biṣaydā > Hishām b. ʿAmmār > Yaḥyá b. Ḥamzah > Thawr b. Yazīd > Khālid b. Maʿdān > Rabīʿah b. al-Ghāz

“He used to fast all of Sha’ban, until he joined it to Ramadan.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1649)   

ابن حبّان:٣٦٤٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُعَافَى الْعَابِدُ بِصَيْدَا حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ حَدَّثَنَا ثَوْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ حَدَّثَنَا رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ الْغَازِ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَائِشَةَ

عَنْ صِيَامِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَتْ كَانَ «يَصُومُ شَعْبَانَ كُلَّهُ حَتَّى يَصِلَهُ بِرَمَضَانَ وَكَانَ يَتَحَرَّى صِيَامَ الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالْخَمِيسِ»
