ذِكْرُ الْخَبَرِ الدَّالِّ عَلَى أَنَّ قَوْلَ الصَّائِمِ لِمَنْ جَهِلَ عَلَيْهِ: إِنِّي صَائِمٌ، إِنَّمَا أُمِرَ أَنْ يَقُولَ بِقَلْبِهِ دُونَ النُّطْقِ بِهِ

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "Do not insult others while you are fasting. And if someone insults you, say, 'I am fasting.' And if you are standing, then sit down."  

ابن حبّان:٣٤٨٣أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ عَجْلَانَ مَوْلَى الْمُشْمَعِلِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَسَابَّ وَأَنْتَ صَائِمٌ وَإِنْ سَابَّكَ أَحَدٌ فَقُلْ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ وَإِنْ كُنْتَ قَائِمًا فَاجْلِسْ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not curse while you are fasting. If someone curses you, say: 'I am fasting.' And if you are standing, then sit down. By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the breath of the fasting person is more fragrant to Allah than the scent of musk."
