ذِكْرُ الْأَمْرِ بِالِاقتِصَارِ عَلَى شَرِبِ الْمَاءِ لِمَنْ أَرَادَ السَّحُورَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Have the pre-dawn meal, even if it is with a sip of water."  

ابن حبّان:٣٤٧٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ بِتُسْتَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ الْأَدَمِيَّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ الْقَطَّانُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ وَسَّاجٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «تَسَحَّرُوا وَلَوْ بِجَرْعَةٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ»

Two men came from the east and delivered speeches, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "Some eloquent speech has the influence of magic." قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ مِنَ الْبَيَانِ لَسِحْرًا»
