ذِكْرُ ذَهَابِ الطَّائِفَةِ الْأُولَى إِلَى مَصَافِّ إِخْوَانِهِمْ، وَيَجِيءُ أُولَئِكَ إِلَى الْإِمَامِ عِنْدَ إِرَادَتِهِمُ الصَّلَاةَ الَّتِي وَصَفْنَاهَا

ibnhibban:2870 – Abū Yaʿlá > Abū Khaythamah > Bishr b. al-Sarī > Sufyān > al-Rukayn b. al-Rabīʿ > al-Qāsim b. Ḥassān > Atayt Zayd b. Thābit Fasaʾaltuh > Ṣalāh al-Khawf

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed a prayer and it was followed by another prayer against the enemy. Then he prayed two units of prayer with them and they went to join their brothers. Others came and he prayed two units of prayer with them and then he concluded with the prayer's ending. So, the Prophet ﷺ performed two units of prayer and each group performed one unit of prayer."  

ابن حبّان:٢٨٧٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الرُّكَيْنِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ صَلَاةِ الْخَوْفِ فَقَالَ

«صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَصَفٌّ خَلْفَهُ وَصَفٌّ بِإِزَاءِ الْعَدُوِّ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ ذَهَبُوا إِلَى مَصَافِّ إِخْوَانِهِمْ وَجَاءَ الْآخَرُونَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ فَكَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ رَكْعَتَانِ وَلِكُلِّ طَائِفَةٍ رَكْعَةٌ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led them in offering the fear prayer. Some formed a row behind him and some formed a row facing the enemy. He led them in praying one rak'ah, then they moved away and the others came, and he led them in praying one rak'ah, then they got up and each (group) made up the other rak'ah.  

النسائي:١٥٣٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ خَوَّاتٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَّى بِهِمْ صَلاَةَ الْخَوْفِ فَصَفَّ صَفًّا خَلْفَهُ وَصَفًّا مُصَافُّو الْعَدُوِّ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ هَؤُلاَءِ وَجَاءَ أُولَئِكَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ قَامُوا فَقَضَوْا رَكْعَةً رَكْعَةً  

ahmad:3364 – ʿAbd al-Raḥman > Sufyān > Abū Bakr / Ibn Abū al-Jahm > ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿAbdullāh > Ibn ʿAbbās

[Machine] The Messenger of Allahﷺ performed the prayer of fear, with those behind him forming a row, and another row equivalent to the enemy. He prayed with them one unit of prayer, then these (those who were behind him) went to the position of these (those equivalent to the enemy), and these (those equivalent to the enemy) came (forward), and he prayed with them one unit of prayer, then he said the tasleem. So it was two units for the Prophetﷺ and one unit for each group.  

أحمد:٣٣٦٤ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ بِذِي قَرَدٍ صَفًّا خَلْفَهُ وَصَفًّا مُوَازِيَ الْعَدُوِّ وَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ هَؤُلَاءِ إِلَى مَصَافِّ هَؤُلَاءِ وَجَاءَ هَؤُلَاءِ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ فَكَانَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَلِكُلِّ طَائِفَةٍ رَكْعَةً  

bayhaqi:6048 – Abū ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥāfiẓ And ʾAbū Saʿīd b. Abū ʿAmr > Abū al-ʿAbbās Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb > Asīd b. ʿĀṣim > al-Ḥusayn b. Ḥafṣ > Sufyān > Abū Bakr b. Abū Jahm > ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUtbah > Ibn ʿAbbās

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the prayer of fear with a group carrying monkeys. He lined them up in rows, with a row parallel to the enemy. He prayed a Rak'ah with them, then these people went to the forefront, and those people came and prayed a Rak'ah with the Prophet ﷺ , then they greeted him. Sufyan said: The Prophet ﷺ prayed two Rak'ahs and each group prayed one Rak'ah.  

البيهقي:٦٠٤٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَسِيدُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي جَهْمٍ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاةُ الْخَوْفِ بِذِي قَرَدٍ فَصَفَّ خَلْفَهُ صَفٌّ وَصَفٌّ مُوَازِي الْعَدُوِّ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ هَؤُلَاءِ إِلَى مَصَافِّ أُولَئِكَ وَجَاءَ أُولَئِكَ فَصَلُّوا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ فَكَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَلِكُلِّ طَائِفَةٍ رَكْعَةٌ
