his mother Su'da Al-Murriyyah said: "Umar bin Khattab passed by Talhah, after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had died, and said: 'Why do you look so sad? Are you upset because your cousin has been appointed leader?' He said: 'No, but I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "I know a word which no one says at the time of death but it will be light in his record of deeds, and his body and soul will find comfort in it at the time of death," -but I did not ask him about it before he died.' He ('Umar) said: ' I know what it is. It is what he wanted his uncle (Abu Talib) to say, and if he had known anything that would be more effective in saving him, he would have told him to say it.'" The inmates of Paradise would see the inmates of the apartment over them just as you see the shining planets which remain in the eastern and the western horizon because of the superiority some have over others. They said: Messenger of Allah, would in these abodes of Apostles others besides them not be able to reach? He said: Yes, they will, by Him, in Whose hand is my life, those who believe in God and acknowledge the Truth, will reach them. (Using translation from Muslim 2831b)

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married us one night, and each of us laid his wife's arm as a pillow. I noticed in the middle of the night that there was no one in front of the Messenger of Allah's camel ﷺ , so I set off to look for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . I found Mu'adh bin Jabal and Abdullah bin Qais standing, so I asked them, 'Where is the Messenger of Allah?' They replied, 'We do not know, except that we heard a voice from the top of the valley. It sounded like the sound of a grinding mill.' We waited for a while, then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us and said, 'Verily, someone came to me from my Lord and gave me the choice between having half of my Ummah enter Paradise, and the position of intercession. I chose intercession.' We said, 'O Messenger of Allah, we ask you by Allah and by your companionship, why you chose us as people of your intercession?' He said, 'Because you are people of my intercession.' When they mounted their camels, he said, 'Verily, I bear witness before those who are present that my intercession is for those among my Ummah who do not associate anything with Allah.'"

[Machine] "We left with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from Makkah, and some people started asking for permission from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He began giving them permission. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then asked, 'Why is it that the branch of the tree that follows the Messenger of Allah is more hateful to you than any other branch?' We did not see anyone from the people except crying. Abu Bakr said, 'The one who seeks permission from you after this will surely be foolish in my eyes.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up, praised and thanked Allah. He would say, 'By the One in whose hand my soul is, I bear witness before Allah, whoever among you believes in Allah and follows the straight path, he will be admitted to Paradise.' Indeed, my Lord has promised me that He will admit 70 thousand from my Ummah into Paradise without reckoning or punishment. And I hope that none will enter it until you and your righteous spouses and children settle in it.' Then he said, 'When one-third of the night or two-thirds of it have passed, Allah, blessed and exalted is He, descends to the lowest heaven and says, 'Is there anyone who asks Me that I may give him? Is there anyone who seeks My forgiveness that I may forgive him? Is there anyone who invokes Me that I may answer him until dawn breaks?'"

Whoever bears witness that there is no god except Allah has protected his wealth and his life from me, except in cases dictated by Islamic law, and their reckoning will be with Allahʿ? Abu Bakr ؓ said: by Allah I shall certainly fight the one who separates prayer and zakah, for zakah is what is due from wealth. By Allah, whoever withholds from me a goat that they used to give (in zakah) to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I shall fight them for withholding it. [Machine] We were with the Prophet ﷺ in a battle when the people suffered from severe hunger. They sought permission from the Messenger of Allah to slaughter some of their animals. 'Umar said, "O Messenger of Allah, how will it be for us when we face our enemies while we are hungry and weak?" But if you, O Messenger of Allah, see fit to call the people for the remainder of their provisions, they will come with it. A man will bring a container of food, and above that will be another container. The one who brought the largest amount was the one who brought a container of dates. The Prophet gathered them on a mat and invoked Allah with what Allah willed him to invoke. Then he called the people with their utensils, and there was not a single utensil left in the army except that it was filled, and an equal amount remained. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ laughed until his molars were visible, then he said, "I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that I am the Messenger of Allah. And I bear witness before Allah that no believer will meet Him with these two testimonies without Allah screening him from the Fire on the Day of Judgment."

[Machine] He informed him that 'Utban ibn Malik, who was from the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and had participated in the Battle of Badr among the Ansar, came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have lost my eyesight, but I still pray for my people. When it rains, the valley between me and the mosque floods, and I cannot go to their mosque to pray for them. I wish that you, O Messenger of Allah, would come and pray in my house and make it a place of worship." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "I will do that." The next day, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and Abu Bakr As-Siddiq entered the house when the day had brightened. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) sought permission, and I granted him permission. He did not sit down until he entered the house, and then he said, "Where would you like me to pray in your house?" I pointed to a corner of the house. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) stood up, said the Takbir, and we stood behind him. He prayed two Rak'ahs and then said the Salam. We detained him in a corner which we made for him. Some men from the people of the house surrounded him until a large number of men gathered in the house. One of them said, "Where is Malik ibn Dukhshun?" Some of them said, "He is a hypocrite and does not love Allah and His Messenger." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to them, "Do not say that to him. Do you not see that he has said, 'There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah,' seeking the Face of Allah with that?" They said, "Allah and His Messenger know best. We only see his face and his advice to the hypocrites." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Indeed, Allah, the Most Exalted and High, has forbidden the Fire for whoever says, 'There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah,' seeking the Face of Allah with it."

“A man from my nation will be called before all of creation on the Day of Resurrection, and ninety-nine scrolls will be spread out for him, each one extending as far as the eye can see. Then Allah will say: “Do you deny anything of this?” He will say: “No, O Lord.” He will say: “Have My recording scribes been unfair to you?” Then He will say: “Apart from that, do you have any good deeds?” The man will be terrified and will say: “No.” (Allah) will say: “Indeed, you have good deeds with Us, and you will not be treated unjustly this Day.” Then a card will be brought out on which is written Ash-hadu an la ilaha illallah wa anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasuluhu (I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger). He will say: “O Lord, what is this card compared with these scrolls?” He will say: “You will not be treated unjustly.” Then the scrolls will be placed in one side of the Balance and the card in the other. The scrolls will go up (i.e., be light) and the card will go down (i.e., will weigh heavily).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4300)
