hakim:7838ʿAlī b. Ḥamshādh al-ʿAdl > Abū ʿAmr Aḥmad b. al-Mubārak And ʾAbū Saʿīd Muḥammad b. Shādhān > Qutaybah b. Saʿīd > Ismāʿīl b. Jaʿfar > ʿAmr b. Abū ʿAmr a freed slave of Ibn al-Muṭṭalib > ʿAbd al-Raḥman al-Aʿraj > Abū Hurayrah

The vow does not bring anything near to the son of Adam which Allah has not ordained for him, but (at times) the vow coincides with Destiny, and this is how something is extracted from the miserly person, which that miser was not willing to give. (Using translation from Muslim 1640c)  

الحاكم:٧٨٣٨حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ ثَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ وَأَبُو سَعِيدٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شَاذَانَ قَالَا ثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو مَوْلَى ابْنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ النَّذْرَ لَا يُقَرِّبُ مِنَ ابْنِ آدَمَ شَيْئًا لَمْ يَكُنِ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى قَدَّرَهُ لَهُ وَلَكِنَّ النَّذْرَ يُوَافِقُ الْقَدَرَ فَيُسْتَخْرَجُ بِذَلِكَ مِنَ الْبَخِيلِ مَا لَمْ يَكُنِ الْبَخِيلُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُخْرِجَهُ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ بِهَذِهِ السِّيَاقَةِ على شرط مسلم

"إِنَّ النذرَ لا يُقَرِّبُ من ابن آدم شيئًا لم يكن اللَّهُ قَدَّرَهُ له، ولكنَّ النذرَ يوافقُ القدرَ، فَيخُرْج ذلك من البخيلِ ما لم يكن البخيلُ يريدُ أَنْ يُخْرِجَ".
