[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, "Whoever goes to sleep with goods under his possession and someone steals from him, he should only blame himself." All of these narrations are authentic and have not been disputed.  

الحاكم:٧١٩٧حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو حَفْصٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمَدَائِنِيُّ ثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ بَاتَ وَفِي يَدِهِ غَمَرٌ فَعَرَضَ لَهُ عَارِضٌ فَلَا يَلُومَنَّ إِلَّا نَفْسَهُ» هَذِهِ الْأَسَانِيدُ كُلُّهَا صَحِيحَةٌ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever goes to sleep with the smell of garlic on his hand and then experiences a bad odor, he has no one to blame but himself."

ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَمَّا يُسْتَحَبُّ لِلْمَرْءِ مِنْ إِزَالَةِ الْغَمَرِ مِنْ يَدِهِ عِنْدَ إِرَادَتِهِ النَّوْمَ بِاللَّيْلِ

That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever spends the night with [a smell] on his hand and something happens to him, then let him not blame anyone but himself." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1860)
