[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying on the pulpit addressing the Ansar (the Helpers): "Surely, people are the armor of each other, and the Ansar are my flag. If people go one way and the Ansar go another way in a valley, I would go with the Ansar. Whoever honors the Ansar, Allah will honor him. Whoever disrespects them, Allah will disrespect him. Whoever troubles them, Allah will trouble him. He then pointed to himself and said, 'If it were not for the emigration, I would have been one of the Ansar.'"  

الحاكم:٦٩٧٢ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ قُرِئَ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَكَ أَبُو صَخْرٍ أَنَّ يَحْيَى بْنَ النَّضْرِ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ يَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ لِلْأَنْصَارِ «أَلَا إِنَّ النَّاسَ دِثَارِي وَإِنَّ الْأَنْصَارَ شِعَارِي وَلَوْ سَلَكَ النَّاسُ وَادِيًا وَسَلَكَتِ الْأَنْصَارُ شُعْبَةً لَاتَّبَعْتُ شُعْبَةَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَمَنْ وَلِيَ أَمْرَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَلْيُحْسِنْ إِلَى مُحْسِنِهِمْ وَلْيَتَجَاوَزْ عَنْ مُسِيئِهِمْ وَمَنْ أَفْزَعَهُمْ فَقَدْ أَفْزَعَ الَّذِي بَيْنَ هَذَيْنِ وَأَشَارَ إِلَى نَفْسِهِ لَوْلَا الْهِجْرَةُ لَكُنْتُ امْرَأً مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ صحيح

So whoever loves the Ansar, let him treat them kindly, and whoever dislikes them, let him overlook their faults. And whoever troubles them, then he has troubled me, and he pointed to himself."  

أحمد:٢٢٦١٥ – حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو صَخْرٍ أَنَّ يَحْيَى بْنَ النَّضْرِ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ يَقُولُ

"أَلَا إِنَّ النَّاسَ دِثارى، وإِنَّ الأَنْصَارَ شِعَارِى ولو سَلَكَ النَّاسُ واديًا، وسلكت الأَنْصَارُ شعبةً لاتَّبَعْتُ شعبَةَ الأَنصارِ، ولولَا الهجرةُ لكنتُ رجلًا من الأَنصارِ

فمن وَلِى أمرَ الأَنصارِ فليحسِنْ إِلى مُحْسِنَهِمْ وليتجاوزْ عن مسيئهم، ومن أَفزعَهُمْ فقد أفزعَ هذا الَّذى بين هاتين يعنى: نفسه".
