[Machine] "We used to pray Asr with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , then we would slaughter the animals, divide them into ten portions, cook them, and eat the cooked meat before the sun sets." Both Bukhari and Muslim agreed upon narrating the hadith of Al-Awza'i from Abu Al-Najashi from Rafi' ibn Khadeej, who said, "We used to pray Maghrib with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , then we would leave, and one of us would mark the places of his arrows, and he had two valid witnesses regarding expediting the prayer, but they did not testify." The first witness among them is  

الحاكم:٦٩١حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مَزْيَدٍ الْبَيْرُوتِيُّ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْأَوْزَاعِيَّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو النَّجَاشِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ قَالَ

«كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْعَصْرَ ثُمَّ نَنْحَرُ الْجَزُورَ فَنَقْسِمُ عَشَرَ قِسَمٍ ثُمَّ نَطْبُخُ فَنَأْكُلُ لَحْمًا نَضِيجًا قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغِيبَ الشَّمْسُ» قَدِ اتَّفَقَ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَمُسْلِمُ عَلَى إِخْرَاجِ حَدِيثِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي النَّجَاشِيِّ عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ قَالَ كُنَّا نُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ ثُمَّ نَنْصَرِفُ وَأَحَدُنَا يُبْصِرُ مَوَاقِعَ نَبْلِهِ وَلَهُ شَاهِدَانِ صَحِيحَانِ فِي تَعْجِيلِ الصَّلَاةِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ فَالشَّاهِدُ الْأَوَّلُ مِنْهُمَا

[Machine] We used to pray the Asr prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , then we would slaughter the animals. They would be divided into ten parts and cooked, and we would eat the cooked meat before the sun sets. He said, "And we used to pray the Maghrib prayer during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . After that, one of us would leave and he would look at his noble standing places."  

أحمد:١٧٢٧٥حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّجَاشِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ قَالَ

كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاةَ الْعَصْرِ ثُمَّ نَنْحَرُ الْجَزُورَ فَتُقْسَمُ عَشَرَ قَسْمٍ ثُمَّ تُطْبَخُ فَنَأْكُلُ لَحْمًا نَضِيجًا قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغِيبَ الشَّمْسُ قَالَ وَكُنَّا نُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَيَنْصَرِفُ أَحَدُنَا وَإِنَّهُ لَيَنْظُرُ إِلَى مَوَاقِعِ نَبْلِهِ  

ذِكْرُ الْخَبَرِ الْمُدْحِضِ قَوْلَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ تَأْخِيرَ الْعَصْرِ وَكَرِهَ التَّعْجِيلَ بِهَا

[Machine] I heard Rafi' ibn Khadij saying, "We used to pray Asr prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then the camels would be slaughtered and divided into ten parts, then they would be cooked. We would eat well-cooked meat before the sunset. And we used to pray Maghrib prayer during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then one of us would leave and he would look at the place of his spear."  

ابن حبّان:١٥١٥أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو النَّجَاشِيِّ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَافِعَ بْنَ خَدِيجٍ يَقُولُ «كُنَّا نُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ ثُمَّ تُنْحَرُ الْجَزُورُ فَتُقْسَمُ عَشْرَ قِسَمٍ ثُمَّ تُطْبَخُ فَنَأْكُلُ لَحْمًا نَضِيجًا قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَكُنَّا نُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَيَنْصَرِفُ أَحَدُنَا وَإِنَّهُ لَيَنْظُرُ إِلَى مَوْقِعِ نَبْلِهِ»
