[Machine] "He came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'O Khuraym ibn Fatik, if it weren't for two characteristics in you, you would have been the best man.' Khuraym asked, 'What are these two characteristics, O Messenger of Allah?' He replied, 'The length of your hair and the shortening of your garment.' So Khuraym went away, cut his hair and shortened his garment."  

الحاكم:٦٦٠٨ – وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ السَّكُونِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ مَعْنٍ السَّعْدِيُّ الْمَسْعُودِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ شِمْرِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ خُرَيْمِ بْنِ فَاتِكٍ

أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا خُرَيْمُ بْنَ فَاتِكٍ لَوْلَا خَصْلَتَيْنِ فِيكَ لَكُنْتَ أَنْتَ الرَّجُلُ فَقَالَ مَا هُمَا بِأَبِي أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «وَفْيرُ شَعْرِكَ وَتَسْبِيلُ إِزَارِكَ» فَانْطَلَقَ خُرَيْمٌ فَجَزَّ شَعْرَهُ وَقَصَّرَ إِزَارَهُإسناده مظلم
