الحاكم:٦١٤١ – فَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِي عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ كَانَ اسْمِي فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ عَبْدَ شَمْسِ بْنِ صَخْرٍ فَسُمِّيتُ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ وَإِنَّمَا كَنُّونِي بِأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ لِأَنِّي كُنْتُ أَرْعَى غَنَمًا لِأَهْلِي فَوَجَدْتُ أَوْلَادَ هِرَّةٍ وَحْشِيَّةٍ فَجَعَلْتُهَا فِي كُمِّي فَلَمَّا رَجَعْتُ عَنْهُمْ سَمِعُوا أَصْوَاتَ الْهِرِّ مِنْ حِجْرِي فَقَالُوا مَا هَذَا يَا عَبْدُ شَمْسٍ؟ فَقُلْتُ أَوْلَادُ هِرٍّ وَجَدَتْهَا قَالُوا فَأَنْتَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَلَزَمَتْنِي بَعْدُ قَالَ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ «وَكَانَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَسِيطًا فِي دَوْسٍ حَيْثُ يُحِبُّ

أَنْ يَكُونَ مِنْهُمْ»

quran:39:30 –

Indeed, you are to die, and indeed, they are to die.

You — an address to the Prophet (s) — will indeed die, and they ˹too˺ will indeed die, and so there is no satisfaction to be gained from ˹another’s˺ death: this was revealed because they kept waiting for the Prophet (s) to die.

القرآن:٣٩:٣٠ –

إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُمْ مَيِّتُونَ

{إنك} خطاب للنبي ﷺ {ميت وإنهم ميتون} ستموت ويموتون فلا شماتة بالموت، نزلت لما استبطؤوا موته ﷺ .

الزهد لأحمد:٢٠٧٣ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ غُنْدَرٌ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مِسْعَرٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا وَفِيهَا مَنْ يَدْفَعُ عَنْ أَهْلِهَا بِهِ وَإِنِّي لَأَرْجُو

أَنْ يَكُونَ أَبُو وَائِلٍ مِنْهُمْ»
