[Machine] From a man among the Prophet's companions ﷺ , who heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about retribution, and I didn't hear it. So, I sought a camel and prepared my gear on it, then I traveled for a month until I reached Egypt. I came to Abdullah bin Unais and said to the gatekeeper, "Tell him Jabir is at the gate." He said, "The son of Abdullah?" I said, "Yes." So, he went to him and informed him. He then started to tread on his garment until he came out to me, and I embraced him and he embraced me. I said to him, "There is a hadith that I have heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about retribution, but I didn't hear it." I feared that I would die or she would die before I heard it. Abdullah said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Allah will resurrect the people naked, barefoot and uncircumcised.' We asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, what does uncircumcised mean?' He replied, 'They will have nothing with them.' Then Allah will call them with a voice that will be heard by those far and near, 'I am the Sovereign, I am the Judge. It is not befitting for anyone from the people of Paradise to enter Paradise, nor for anyone from the people of Hell to enter Hell, and he has something due to him from Me, even to the extent of the strike of a falling leaf.' We asked, 'How is that possible when we come to Allah in a state of destitution and poverty?' He said, 'Through the good and bad deeds.' Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited the verse, 'Today, every soul will be recompensed for what it earned. No injustice today!'" [Surah Ghafir: 17]

He replied, 'They will have nothing with them. Then they will be called with a voice that will be heard from a distance as it is heard from near: I am the King, I am the Judge. It is not appropriate for anyone from the people of Hellfire to enter Hell while someone from the people of Paradise has a right over him, even if it is for him to take a pledge from him. Similarly, it is not appropriate for anyone from the people of Paradise to enter Paradise while someone from the people of Hellfire has a right over him, even if it is for him to take a pledge from him, until the account is settled evenly.' He said, 'Then he struck his chest.' We asked, 'How is that possible when we come to Allah barefooted, uncircumcised, and sunburned?' He replied, 'By good deeds and bad deeds.'"
