[Machine] From Nubayh Al-Azzy, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, he narrated that Luqman said to his son, "And be moderate in your walking and lower your voice." [Luqman 19]. He (Jabir ibn Abdullah) said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to walk with his companions and they would make way for the angels behind him."  

الحاكم:٣٥٤٤ – حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي اللَّيْثِ ثنا الْأَشْجَعِيُّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ

عَنْ نُبَيْحٍ الْعَنَزِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَتَلَا قَوْلَ لُقْمَانَ لِابْنِهِ {وَاقْصِدْ فِي مَشْيِكَ وَاغْضُضْ مِنْ صَوْتِكَ} [لقمان 19] قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا خَرَجَ مَشَوْا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَخَلَّوْا ظَهْرَهُ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ صحيح

عَنْ نُبَيْحٍ الْعَنَزِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ مَشَيْنَا قُدَّامَهُ وَتَرَكْنَا خَلْفَهُ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ» قال الذهبي صحيح  

ذِكْرُ مَا كَانَ يُسْتَعْمَلُ عِنْدَ مَشْيِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي طُرُقِهِ

ibnhibban:6312 – Muḥammad b. Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm a freed slave of Thaqīf > Dāwud b. Rushayd > Wakīʿ > Sufyān > al-Aswad b. Qays > Nubayḥ al-ʿAnazī > Jābir b. ʿAbdullāh

"When the Prophet walked, his Companions would walk in front of him, and he would leave his back for the angels." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 246)

عَنْ نُبَيْحٍ الْعَنَزِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ «كَانَ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا خَرَجُوا مَعَهُ مَشَوْا أَمَامَهُ وَتَرَكُوا ظَهْرَهُ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ»
