Ibn 'Abbas has reported this hadith on the authority of Ubayy b. ka'b that Allah's Apostle ﷺ used to recite this.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَرَأَ { لَتَخِذْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا}
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ who said, "If I wished, I could have asked for a reward for it." [Al-Kahf 77].
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ {لَوْ شِئْتَ لَاتَّخَذْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا} [الكهف 77]
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "(If you wanted, you could have taken a reward for it) in a reduced form."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «(لَوْ شِئْتَ لَتَخِذْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا) مُخَفَّفَةً»
"أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ قَرَأَ {لَتَّخَذْتَ (* *) عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا".
"أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ قَرأَ: {لَوْ شِئْتَ لَاتَّخَذْتَ (* *) عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا} مُدْغَمَةً بِإِسْقَاطِ الذَّالِ".
"أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ قَرَأَ {لَوْ شِئْتَ لَاتَّخَذْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا} مُخفَّفَةً".
