[Machine] The Prophet (pbuh) said, "Indeed, can one of you imagine taking a rope from a sheep's wool, which is a mile or two miles long, and then finding it difficult to loosen it from his neck, causing him to be elevated until Friday comes, and he does not attend it until it is engraved on his heart." Al-Dhahabi remained silent about this in his concise summary.  

الحاكم:١٠٨٣ – حَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفَقِيهُ بِنَيْسَابُورَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ثنا مَعْدِيُّ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «أَلَا هَلْ عَسَى أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ الصُّبَّةَ مِنَ الْغَنَمِ عَلَى رَأْسِ مِيلٍ أَوْ مِيلَيْنِ فَيَتَعَذَّرَ عَلَيْهِ الْكَلَأُ عَلَى رَأْسِ مِيلٍ أَوْ مِيلَيْنِ فَيَرْتَفِعَ حَتَّى تَجِيءَ الْجُمُعَةُ فَلَا يَشْهَدَهَا حَتَّى يُطْبَعَ عَلَى قَلْبِهِ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “What if one of you were to take a flock of sheep and look for grass for them one or two miles away, but he cannot find any at that distance, so he goes further away? Then (the time for) Friday comes but he does not attend it, then (another) Friday comes but he does not attend it, and (another) Friday comes but he does not attend it, until Allah places a seal on his heart.”  

ابن ماجة:١١٢٧ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْدِيُّ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلاَنَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ

رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَلاَ هَلْ عَسَى أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ الصُّبَّةَ مِنَ الْغَنَمِ عَلَى رَأْسِ مِيلٍ أَوْ مِيلَيْنِ فَيَتَعَذَّرَ عَلَيْهِ الْكَلأُ فَيَرْتَفِعَ ثُمَّ تَجِيءُ الْجُمُعَةُ فَلاَ يَجِيءُ وَلاَ يَشْهَدُهَا وَتَجِيءُ الْجُمُعَةُ فَلاَ يَشْهَدُهَا وَتَجِيءُ الْجُمُعَةُ فَلاَ يَشْهَدُهَا حَتَّى يُطْبَعَ عَلَى قَلْبِهِ

"أَلَا هَلْ عَسى أَحدُكُمْ أنْ يتَّخذَ الصُّبَّةَ مِنَ الغَنَم علَى رأسِ ميْل أوْ ميْلَيْن فَيتَعذَّرُ علَيْهِ الكَلأُ فَيرْتَفِعُ، ثُمَّ تَجئُ الجمعة فلَا يجئُ ولَا يشْهدُها، وتَجِئُ الجُمُعَةُ فَلَا يشْهدُها، وتجئ الجمعة فلا يشهدها حتى يُطبَعَ على قَلبِهِ" .
